Government is moving ahead with its plans to incorporate private security companies in the fight against crime - but experts are divided on whether it is a good idea.

Ministers in government's justice, crime prevention and security cluster defended the initiative, which will see private security guards as the "eyes and ears" of the police, and have urged the public to support it.

Safety and Security Minister Nathi Mthethwa told a media briefing at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Thursday a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) had been signed between the SAPS in Honeydew, Johannesburg, and private security companies for a pilot project.

The plan has been endorsed by Justice Minister Enver Surty and Intelligence Minister Siyabonga Cwele, who said there was "enthusiasm" in government about the project.

Mthethwa said in terms of the agreement with the private security companies, guards would "preserve" crime scenes if they arrived at them before the police.

"We are going to train security guards on the basic things such as crime scene preservation.

"This is a pilot project we'd want to extend to urban areas in other parts of the province."

Private security guards will be trained on how to use radios to communicate with police.

"We are not pressing panic buttons but South Africa is in a panic mode on the issue of crime so we will do anything possible to reduce crime. Contact crime is a major concern that requires partnerships with communities," said Mthethwa.

All security companies that will be used in the project will be "screened" before taking part.

Mthethwa said the SAPS would rely on the security companies' "visibility" on the street to decrease contact crimes.

"We hope to tap into the availability of their (private security) vehicles. It's quite a comprehensive partnership. We need to move with speed in such a partnership because the private security companies are bigger (in number) than the SAPS.

"We have recruited 10 000 members every year into the SAPS but this is not making a significant impact in contact crimes," said Mthethwa.

The head of the crime prevention centre at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Barbara Holtmann, said the initiative was a bit "naive".

"We should be cautious about handing power to private security companies because they are not subject to the same oversight and tight rules that control the SAPS.

"On what basis can we trust what the security companies say when they are motivated by profit? Even with screening it is naive to think that this project will rule out criminality," said Holtmann.

She questioned whether the Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD), which investigates police wrongdoing, would be able to investigate security companies.

"It's dangerous for us to blur the line. Surely there must have been more strategic planning than that. I applaud any initiatives to fight crime... but we need to think again about what protection we put in place for citizens if legal issues arise.

I would feel much better about this initiative if I knew how the private security companies will be held accountable," said Holtmann.

Steve Conradie, the chief executive of the Security Industry Alliance (SIA) and representative of Business Against Crime (BAC), said: "Police will continue to do their work and security companies will continue theirs.

"The project will increase the eyes and ears for the police.

"The BAC facilitated this project from the beginning and it could be the recipe to use in other crime hotspots such as Honeydew," said Conradie.

He said security companies would help police by sharing information, and identifying wanted criminals and stolen vehicles.

"The crime management centre will respond to incidents when we tell them about it.

"This is part of using maximum resources to achieve the maximum results because the project could have a huge impact if rolled out successfully," said Conradie.

Why the DA is attending the National Convention


This weekend a DA delegation will attend the National Convention in Johannesburg organised by Mosiuoa Lekota and Mbhazima Shilowa.

When Mr Lekota initially proposed a National Convention, he said the purpose was to discuss the ANC’s abuse of the Constitution and its implications for South Africa. He enumerated the specific issues for discussion, including:


Protecting all institutions of the Constitution, including Parliament, the judiciary, Chapter 9 institutions and upholding the rule of law;


The principle of equality before the law;


Introducing a constituency-based electoral system for national and provincial elections and introducing direct elections for the President, Premiers and Mayors;


Progressively realising socio-economic rights;


Combating corruption; and


The regulation of party funding.

These agenda items were confirmed by Mr Shilowa in a telephone conversation with me on Monday.

As the DA has been at the forefront of the debate on these crucial issues for the past decade, it is consistent, logical and necessary for us to continue this role. This is the main reason why we will be attending the national convention. We will use the opportunity to re-state the DA’s position on the supremacy of the Constitution, which has been seriously undermined during the ANC’s 14 year rule.

If we chose not to attend, this debate would happen without our voice, which has been central to defining the issues. It would be a mistake to allow this to happen.

We are also aware that the organisers of the Convention are planning to form a new political party in December.

That is their right in an open democracy. Messrs Lekota and Shilowa have both assured me that the Convention itself will not be used as a platform to launch a new political party, and it is on this basis that we have agreed to attend. We are there to discuss the key issues facing South Africa’s future. What other participants decide to do after the Convention is up to them.

The DA’s attendance at the Convention is not an endorsement of any other political formation. The DA will move into the future, consolidating its position as the champion of the Constitution and promoting the open, opportunity-driven society for all.

We will participate in the discussions and we will state our views. We will not necessarily commit the DA to any resolutions or declarations, unless they restate mandated DA positions. Here then, are the key issues that the DA looks forward to debating:

1. The Supremacy of the Constitution

It is a welcome development that Messrs Lekota and Shilowa and their supporters appear to be recognising the grave risk to the future of democracy posed by the ANC’s abuse of the Constitution. The DA recognises that this abuse was initiated under President Mbeki’s watch and is epitomised by the ANC’s cadre deployment policy endorsed by the Mafikeng Congress in 1997. In terms of this policy, the ANC converted institutions established by the Constitution to defend the rights of all South Africans into extensions of the Mbeki faction. The Zuma faction has now usurped this role. This is the central reason for the ANC split.

If Lekota and his supporters now recognise the grave risk of this abuse of the Constitution, to which the Mbeki faction was party, this is a welcome development. We are not interested in the politics of patronage that simply exchanges deployment powers between rival factions. We will state our case that the institutions of the Constitution and the state must defend the rights of all South Africans and remain independent of the ruling party.

2. Equality before the Law

We welcome the repeated statements by Mr Lekota and his supporters that all South Africans must be equal before the law. We believe that this applies to Jackie Selebi and Jacob Zuma, both of whom appear to have been protected from this principle by rival factions within the ANC.

We will use this opportunity to emphasise the centrality of the National Prosecuting Authority’s independence and the conflict of interest occasioned by the fact that the President has the power to appoint and dismiss the National Director of Public Prosecutions. We will remind the Convention that the ANC’s primary motive in disbanding the Scorpions was to protect senior ANC members from investigation and that this fundamentally undermined the principle of equality before the law.

3. Electoral Reform

The DA has long called for electoral reform. We will put forward the case for introducing a system of multi-member constituencies combined with party lists to achieve overall proportionality.

We also look forward to debating the merits and demerits of directly electing Mayors, Premiers and the President. The DA has been considering adopting direct elections for these office bearers as part of our policy review process because it gives more power to voters, although it is not currently DA policy. There is a good argument that if holders of high office are directly elected, parties may be more circumspect about the qualities of the individuals they nominate as their candidates.

4. Socio-economic rights and poverty alleviation

We have always championed the progressive realisation of socio-economic rights for all, not as a lever of patronage to reward supporters or punish opponents of the ruling party. At the Convention, we will set out our proposals to provide quality education and extend opportunity to more South Africans.

5. Party funding and Combating Corruption

In the discussions around party political funding, we will re-iterate the DA’s long held view that legislation needs to be enacted which prohibits donations to political parties from foreign governments and obliges parties to disclose all donations above a fixed threshold. Any such legislation must ensure fairness, transparency and be equally applied to all parties. It must contain watertight guarantees that disclosure will not result in the state discriminating against companies that donate to opposition parties. Legislation that deals with party funding must put a stop to the corruption inherent in Chancellor House whereby the ruling party receives kickbacks for the awarding of state tenders.

The DA will put forward our views on these and other relevant issues at the Convention, but our aim is not to deliberate until we have reached consensus with the other participants. Our aim is to state our position.

The DA recognises the potential of the Convention to be a turning point in South African politics. The DA has long noted that the current political formations, trapped in the racial rhetoric of the past, are obsolete and that a political realignment is necessary to reveal the real political choices South Africa faces.

The Constitution must be the basis of this realignment. Defenders of the Constitution are currently located in various political parties, with the DA at the forefront. All those who believe in the supremacy of the Constitution, what I call the regstaat, belong in the same political party. All those who believe in the supremacy of the ruling clique of the ruling party, in other words “the higher law of the party”, or the magstaat, belong in a different party.

The dividing line between these two opposing philosophies runs down the middle of the ANC. We believe that the National Convention could help separate the wheat from the chaff.

If the National Convention facilitates this, it will, with hindsight, be recognised as a pivotal development in South African politics. If however, it merely spawns a carbon copy of the old ANC, differentiated only by revenge and competing power cliques, it will be an opportunity lost. We will evaluate developments at the Convention to determine whether it will lead to progress or stagnation.

If the Convention unleashes processes that open the prospect for the peaceful change of power through elections in various provinces, then it will have contributed enormously to consolidating democracy in South Africa. We will seek to facilitate progress in this direction and to highlight the key choice South Africans face: between the open, opportunity-driven society for all championed by the DA, and the closed, patronage-driven society for some, promoted by the ANC: The regstaat vs the magstaat. We believe that this choice is becoming clearer and that, for the first time since 1997, there is a realistic prospect of the regstaat winning out in the new South Africa. This alone is sufficient reason to attend the Convention.

There will be no immediate end to the country's affirmative action as long as white males continued to dominate the top management structures, ANC president Jacob Zuma told the Black Business Forum in Durban on Thursday night.

Citing figures from the Employment Equity Commission, Zuma said: "Whites maintained dominance at 65,2%, with blacks at 18,1%. On senior management recruitments during the same period, 40,6% were black and 55,2% were white. In essence, we are far from declaring an end to affirmative action. We know that affirmative action is a critical matter for black professionals as well as for the country's economy. No economy can succeed in the long-term if the majority is excluded in its management."

Referring to land reform, Zuma said the ANC-led government planned to intensify its land reform process in a bid to ensure that "30% of the land is in the hands of the rural poor by 2014".

He said the complaint that the government had been slow in addressing land was a valid complaint.

However Zuma warned against people being given land and allowing it to become unproductive. A programme was needed to ensure that those taking over the land were made aware of how to keep the land productive.

ANC treasurer general Mathews Phosa said that of the agricultural land that had been redistributed to black South Africans in Limpopo, 70% had become unproductive.

He said those who received land should be either trained or "counselled" on keeping the land productive.

"It is very important that every parcel of land transferred from white people to black people remains productive," he said.

Phosa questioned why the government had cancelled farm subsidies and said government might need to revisit the issue.

Referring to the formation of a new political party, Zuma questioned whether it would be successful given the short time left until the election.

"I don't think it can be a force in the next election. Firstly the timing is wrong. You can't start a party if you have less than a year. You can only start a party if you are angry. There is no amount of anger that can make it a force."

He said he was of the opinion that voters did not want to vote for "disgruntled members".

"We differentiate between members who have grievances but who want to work with us to find solutions, and those who are angry because they lost power and leadership positions at Polokwane and provincial congresses.

"We unfortunately cannot assist in that regard. Usually angry people are difficult to handle." he said.

He said that while people had the right to establish a new party, the ANC could not allow it to be destabilised from within.

"The test of loyalty and understanding of ANC membership comes when a person faces difficulties. Some of us could have packed our bags and called many conventions long ago."

The party faced the upcoming election without any fears andthat it was "business as usual".

"We have no crisis, are not jumping up and down, and nobody should panic about anything. Our programmes continue as always," Zuma said.

Phosa added that ny attempt to hijack the party's name "in any form" would be opposed.

"The law is "though shall not steal the word ANC," he said to great applause.

Mandla Nkosi met Sowetan at his workplace in Soweto yesterday – but according to Home Affairs records he died six years ago when he was only 14 years old.



Nkosi, 20, of Jabulani, Soweto, first applied for an ID at the Home Affairs office in Dobsonville in February 2006.

He was told to return after three months to collect his ID.

But on his return Nkosi got the shock of his life.

“They told me I could not get an ID because I died in 2002,” Nkosi said.

They said he died on October 3 2002 in Madadeni, KwaZulu- Natal.

“I have never been to KwaZulu-Natal in my life,” Nkosi said.

Nkosi was then advised to take the matter up with the Roodepoort office.

In Roodepoort Nkosi was told to get an affidavit stating that he was alive – which he did.

He returned weeks later and was told”: “We are working on your ID.”

In July 2007 Nkosi decided to go to Home Affairs in Market Street, Johannesburg, hoping for better service.

“I was upset when I was told that I was still dead,” he said

Nkosi applied for a new ID again but when he returned he was told once more “we are working on it”.


Department spokesman Joseph Mohajane said the error could have been caused by the capturing of wrong ID numbers or a fraudulent registration of death.

“Nkosi should submit a birth registration form and an affidavit that he is alive, and his application will be processed,” Mohajane said.

Mapisa-Nqakula is very much like apartheid’s Dr No

Home Affairs Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula reminds me of one apartheid minister, Andries Treurnicht, who was called “Dr No” because of his obstinacy.



Mapisa-Nqakula refuses to admit that her department is in shambles and that she has to go.

During apartheid, Treurnicht was at one stage given the portfolio of “bantu education”, a system designed for the exclusive denial of blacks to proper education. He never cared for blacks, that Treurnicht, and he said so in so many ways.

Somehow the current home affairs minister reminds me of him.

Lest I am harangued for comparing a struggle heroine with a dead oppressor, I will defend my reasons for feeling the way I do.

During apartheid, not only were the education laws designed to subjugate blacks, but we had the hated dompas that curtailed the movement of black people in their own land of birth.

To obtain the dompas was no easy feat.

For instance, when I applied for my reference book – as it was called – I was unable to produce a birth certificate.

So at the infamous 80 Albert Street I was told to go home and bring along my mother, which I did.

After a long wait in the snaking queue, the young white man behind the counter asked my mother where she was born.

She duly said she was born in Benoni on the East Rand.

When I fetched my reference book three months later, I had been classified as 10(1)(D).

This meant I was not born in Johannesburg but because I was Sesotho-speaking, I belonged to the QwaQwa homeland and could be “deported” at a whim.

It also meant I could remain “in the prescribed area” of Johannesburg as long as I was gainfully employed.

Apartheid is gone and now our movement in and out of our free South Africa is determined by Home Affairs.

Alas, it is this department that has declared many legitimate South Africans dead, others as twins, women have found themselves married to Pakistanis they have never met, women have been declared men and others have lost jobs because they could not produce valid IDs.

But Mapisa-Nqakula does not see any crisis.

It is said if you steal someone’s identity it is as good as killing him. Yet we live in a free country, but no.

This is the reason, therefore, that I find it hard not to draw a comparison between Treurnicht and Mapisa-Nqakula.

You see, Dr No, even when Soweto was burning in 1976, refused to believe that the end of an abhorrent era was nigh.

Home Affairs is in shambles and Trevor Manuel has suggested it be taken out of Mapisa-Nqakula’s hands.

Look, this is an important department. It deals with our very existence. It controls our borders, guarding against illegal entries – or at least it should.

The recent xenophobic violence could have been avoided if there was proper legislation in place.

Faultless IDs and birth certificates, instead of death certificates for people who are still alive, should be issued by efficient officials reporting to a convincing minister.

As for me, I will keep using adhesive tape to hold the pages of my worn ID book together.

What if it returns with the face of a white woman were I to apply for a new one?

SA peacekeeper killed in Darfur

Khartoum - Gunmen on vehicles assaulted a group of South African peacekeepers guarding a water well in Darfur, killing one and seriously wounding another, a spokesperson for the joint UN-African Union mission said on Thursday.

The attack took place on Wednesday night, said Noureddine Mezni from the peacekeeping force known as UNAMID.

A total of nine South African peacekeepers were guarding the well, used by the force and the population of Kutum in northern Darfur, he said.

"A convoy of vehicles with armed (men) attacked the force," Mezni said, adding that the peacekeepers fired back. The armed men then fled, leaving two peacekeepers seriously wounded.

One died after reaching the nearest camp, about one kilometre from the well. The other, a seriously wounded female soldier, was evacuated to el-Fasher, North Darfur's provincial capital.

Mezni said the peacekeepers remain "shocked" at the attack.

"We were securing a water well used by the population. We are not part of the conflict," he added.

The joint UN-AU mission took over peacekeeping duty this year from a beleaguered African Union mission. But the new force has struggled with growing insecurity in the conflict-wracked Darfur as it operates with less than 50% of its authorised capacity.

The force is also facing shortages of equipment, mostly transport and combat helicopters which hinders its access to wide swaths of the remote western region of Sudan and leaves the peacekeepers vulnerable to repeated attacks.

Mezni said the peacekeepers were investigating who was behind the attack and remain "undeterred" to carry out their mandate.

However, the UNAMID has rarely blamed any of the warring factions in the conflict zone, and only in one incident were attackers arrested.

The mission has lost at least 10 other peacekeepers since deploying in Darfur.

In July, at least 200 gunmen ambushed a UNAMID convoy in northern Darfur, killing seven peacekeepers in one of the most brazen attacks against the force. The attackers are not yet identified. Three other peacekeepers were killed in separate attacks around Darfur this year.

SA seeks private security firms in fight against crime

South Africa, suffering from one of the world's highest rates of violent crime, is turning to private security firms to help make the streets safe ahead of hosting the Soccer World Cup, a minister said on Thursday.

Soccer's world governing body Fifa has raised safety and transport as key concerns for South Africa, which is battling perceptions that it might be too dangerous for visitors.

Murders, rapes, robberies and carjackings are frequent and critics accuse the government of not doing enough to contain the violence.

"South Africa is in a panic mood on the issues of crime" Safety and Security Minister Nathi Mthethwa told reporters.

"So we are doing everything possible, we'll partner with everybody, not only the private security companies [but] anyone ... who wants to assist."

More than 400 000 visitors are expected to attend the 2010 tournament, officials said.

Fifa has approved South Africa's security blueprint but has said it needs to be fine-tuned ahead of the world's most popular sporting event.

South Africa's 2010 safety and security strategy covers terror threats, hooliganism and crime. Hooliganism is not a part of the soccer scene in South Africa, though there have been some random incidents of fan violence.

Despite the high crime, tourism growth in South Africa outpaced the global average of 5% in the first quarter of 2008, surging to 11,9% after a record 9,1-million tourist arrivals last year, authorities have said.


The government has held "extensive" consultations with the private security industry to bolster crime fighting over the Christmas season, hoping to ensure the safety of local and foreign tourists, said Mthethwa.

properly.

Who will take the blame if tourists get killed, robbed, raped, maimed and kidnapped?

Will the blame be put at the doors of these private security companies who are only

allowed to act in terms of the Criminal Procedure Act.

The State must get their act together before 2010 or waive the games.

The Constitution is clear on who should protect the citizens (and guests) in South

Ek het my diensplig saam met Cheeky Watson gedoen.

Ek het Cheeky in dié twee jaar leer ken as ’n dominerende en ’n uitgesproke mens en ’n uitstekende atleet en rugbyspeler. Hy was die belhamel onder ons klomp en het soms die groep amper gedwing om teenstrydig met die dissiplinêre kode van die weermag op te tree.

Dit wil voorkom of Luke hierdie houding by sy pa aangeleer het.

Hy het egter nooit laat deurskemer dat hy ’n simpatiseerder met die destydse “onderdruktes” was nie. Inteendeel, hy was soos ons, die “Ons vir jou, Suid-Afrika”-tipe. Indien hy daardie tyd so sterk gevoel het jeens die destydse bestel, hoekom het hy nie soos ander beswaardes sy diensplig ontduik nie? Dit het vir my eerder gelyk of hy sy diensplig saam met ons geniet het.

Dalk is hy teleurgesteld dat hy nog nie ’n ANC-LP is nie of nog nie in die SA Rugbyraad se uitvoerende bestuur dien nie. Gevolglik het hy dalk sy seun “gebreinspoel” om sulke uitlatings te maak.

Ek het Cheeky vir die eerstse keer ná ons diensplig in Desember 2005 by die Green Acres-winkelsentrum in Port Elizabeth raakgeloop.

Ek het hom uitgevra oor Luke se verhuising van die Haaie na die Stormers. Sy antwoord was dat dit die beste ding is wat Luke gedoen het en dat hy gelukkig en beïndruk is met Gert Smal as persoon en afrigter.

Hoe rym dit met Luke se uitlatings van verlede week? Hy verlaat “The last outpost of the British Empire” om by ’n “Dutch-man”- afrigter in die Kaap aan te sluit en dan is hy nogal tevrede met hom.

My voorstel aan die Watsons is om uit die politiek te bly, dit lyk nie of hulle hul doelwitte daar gaan bereik nie.

Pietermaritzburg - A Pietermaritzburg woman died in hospital on Sunday afternoon after being shot seven times with an R5 rifle by her husband, a police officer, who then turned the rifle on himself.

Bhekani Ngubeni, 43, committed suicide shortly after he shot his wife, Minah Thabisile Ngubeni, 35, several times at their home at 93 White Road in the Grange. Minah was rushed to St Anne's Hospital where she died about two hours later.

The shooting happened at about 10:45 on Sunday. Wounded, Minah walked a few metres from the house before collapsing at the gate, as her husband shot at her.

Passers-by and neighbours witnessed the shocking scene and saw her collapse in the driveway naked and wounded. "She was bleeding, trembling with pain and most shocking she had no clothes on," said a witness.

A neighbour rushed to cover her while others called the police and ambulance. When The Witness arrived on the scene the area was cordoned off with police tape and residents were standing along the road.

Concern for children

Police were busy collecting evidence on the scene, while paramedics from ER24 and Netcare 911 tried to stabilise Minah. Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said she was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and was immediately taken to surgery.

Neighbours prayed for her as they watched the ambulance race off. "May God save her life - I hope she recovers." Unfortunately, she was declared dead at about 13:30.

Earlier, neighbours did not realise that a muffled sound they heard was Minah's cry for help.

"We heard two gunshots and a muffled scream, but we thought it was one of those guys who usually shoot in the air. Moments later, there were gunshots again, three times, and the next thing someone said a woman was lying in the driveway," said one of the neighbours.

"It's shocking; I wouldn't think that something like this would happen with this couple. They are respectable people, both employed, have a beautiful car and they seem to be well off. It's sad."

Neighbours said the Ngubeni family moved into the area less than two years ago.

It is believed that the couple had a domestic dispute, which led to the shooting. It is not known what exactly sparked the argument.

Police spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Henry Budhram, said a rifle was used in the shooting. "Ngubeni shot his wife several times before he shot himself in the head, he died on the scene," he said.

Budhram said Ngubeni was a member of the SAPS public order police unit.

Zuma: ANC is relieved Zuma to strengthen ties with US ANC economic summit starts Zuma: Crisis impact 'severe' Economy will struggle - Zuma Johannesburg - South Africa's ruling party boss Jacob Zuma said on Friday that unemployment was the country's biggest problem, as he kicked off economic talks seen as another step toward his presidential run. "The most pressing challenge in South Africa is that of unemployment," Zuma said at the start of a meeting of his ruling African National Congress (ANC) and its leftist allies. "Significant proportions of our people do not have jobs or are in very low-paying jobs. Government must address this problem immediately," he said. "Creating decent jobs must be the cornerstone of all economic policies," he added, saying that the government also needed to provide education and training so that people can find better work. "Where people are not suitably educated or skilled, the chances are very high that they will forever remain trapped in low-wage, exploitative jobs or not get any jobs at all," Zuma said. Unemployment - at only four percent among white South Africans - is at 23% among the entire population, and the real rate is believed to be twice as high. Zuma took over the leadership of the ANC in December, in a stunning upset for former South African president Thabo Mbeki. Zuma is now widely expected to run for president in elections next year, after the ANC forced Mbeki to resign last month in a long-running power struggle between the two. Mbeki had been criticised as aloof and distant to the needs of the poor. Zuma is close to the powerful unions and the South African Communist Party. The ANC's meeting with the two allies this weekend is widely seen as laying out an economic platform for the party ahead of the elections next year.

GUIDELINES FOR USING THE PRAYERS OF RENUNCIATION
The renunciation of occultic involvement is two-legged:
1. CONFESSION OF INVOLVEMENT.
When confessing involvement, the prayer is read out loud, preferably
with one or more witness/es present, as well as the counsellor. The
reason for reading the prayer out loud, is that the individual will have no
doubt to the renunciation of the prayer. This is also why we recommend
that one or more witness/es be present.
James 5:16 Confess to one another therefore your faults and pray for
one another...
After this part has been done, only half of the renunciation has been
completed,
The next part is very important. This is where the counsellor is essential.
2. WARFARE
The prayer has to be warred through now. All words and phrases
typed in bold or that have been underlined, as well as the powers of
darkness involved and the effects of involvement, i.e. sickness,
poverty, quarrelling, etc. need to be addressed. The powers are
rebuked, bound, uprooted from the bloodline and commanded to
become a footstool for Jesus.
Ps 110:1 Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your
footstool
Heb 1: 13; 10: 13 “Besides, to which of the angels has He ever said, Sit at
My right hand [associated with Me in My royal dignity] till I make your enemies

The individual must also be cut loose from the human laws and institutions of
the organization/s involved and submit under the Law of Christ.

1. A LIST OF CURSES ON FAMILIES
1.1 Chronic Financial Curses
The first symptom of a financial type curse is evident if there is a
history of debt, bankruptcy, poverty and lack of gain in the family.
No matter what a person appears to do, nothing just seems to get
them ahead financially. Unable to find or keep jobs, layoffs,
inability to establish profitable employ, especially where no logical
explanation or answer exists. No escape from the “unexpected”
bills, accidents that cause more medical bills, physical loss of
money through carelessness, theft, mugging, robbery, high
interest rates, car breakdowns and or mechanical malfunctions.

It seems one is getting ahead financially when suddenly something
happens and sets one reeling backwards. This can also apply when
one earns a great deal of money. For some there is no logical
explanation why they should not be further ahead financially;
mishandling of money, history of welfare in the family, business
failures and the like. The spirit of poverty and destruction works
through these factors and impoverishment, lack, bad debt and
destruction is a consequential curse.

You have sown much, but you have reaped little; you eat, but you
do not have enough; you drink, but you do not have your fill; you
clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages
has earned them to put them in a bag with holes in it.
In other words your income seemingly disappears, as though you
were putting it into pockets filled with holes … ever been there?
1.2 Chronic Sickness and Disease
“Chronic” simply means ‘of long duration’, or frequent occurrence,
constantly vexing, weakening or troubling. The signs of this curse
include a sickness that from childhood continuously persists
throughout life. Sicknesses and or diseases, which are more than
apparently drug resistant — ones that seemingly do not respond to
medication or treatment at all. This includes symptoms which do
not seem to respond to prayer and a history of certain illnesses in
the family which include high blood pressure, sugar diabetes,
cancer, sickle cell anaemia, bone diseases, blood and respiratory
diseases. Deuteronomy 20: The “pestilence’ that cleave.
A pestilence is a contagious or an infectious disease, or sickness
that is destructive or pernicious. The New English Bible states,
“The Lord causes pestilence to haunt you”. To haunt means to
often visit, or come with great regularity, to recur constantly; to
stick around, to linger and to persist.

Any sickness that visits as a result of a curse holds fast, you can’t
seem to get rid of it, or it “cleaves and persists”. To cleave means
to stick to, to adhere or attach firmly and or closely.
1.3 Chronic Female Problems
Another common household sign of a curse is frequently and
simply the presence of female problems and these can take
many a different form. One form is barrenness and any lack of
productivity. When the Lord blessed man and woman He said, “Be
fruitful and multiply”. Fruitfulness and multiplication have always
been the signs of blessings, and lack of children is the sign of a
curse. Yet another is “miscarriages”. Ladies who have repeatedly
miscarried (once confirmed pregnant) can also take on the
secondary curse (spirit) of grief, sadness and or depression.
According to the Word of the Lord, and within the writings of
Hosea 9:14, idolatry is one of the primary causes of miscarriage.
These female type problems can obviously include severe cramps,
PMS, tormenting pain during their monthly cycles, tumours and
growths in the abdomen and womb, e.g. hysterectomy. Fallopian
tube infections, and/or ill operating ovaries are common especially
in freemasonry-orientated families. Curses of infirmity operate in
these areas resultant of idolatry.
1.4 Accident Proneness
Merely being accident-prone is a curse in itself. The word prone,
means to have a tendency or inclination toward. Just because
one is involved in an accident does not mean he or she is under a
curse, for being accident-prone surely means something entirely
different. If accidents are frequent and/or continuously occurring
to a person, chances are that he or she is under a curse. It is best
at this stage to investigate if there is reason for a curse to operate.
Other such accidents could include frequent falls, poked in the
eye, accidental choking on food, bitten by a dog or other animal,
being injured at work, accidentally shot (this is a frequent
occurrence), accidentally cutting oneself, accidentally consuming
poison, accidentally burning oneself, walking into doors or
windows and stepping off a curb and breaking an ankle (really silly
sounding stuff).

When a person is subject to a history of accidents that seem
inexplicable, chances are that a curse is at work, so seek
deliverance to break the continuing cycle.
1.5 Marital Problems
Proverbs 3:33
The curse of the Lord is in and on the house of the wicked, but He
declares blessed (joyful and favoured with blessings) the home of
the just and consistently righteous.
The household is one of the hardest hit areas of all, for the
foundation of the household is the strength of the marriage union.
The Lord often mentions that where two would come together in
anything — there is power. (This is one of the very reasons why
Satanists, in particular, fast and pray against Christian marriages
and pray to usher in family breakdown). Marital problems can be
as simple as continuous arguments, fights or quarreling, and these
problems are easily rooted generational (their parents also
suffered with these same issues/curses). It is common to find a
high number of people with serious marital problems whose
parents or grand parents were divorced or involved in multiple
marriages. Where chronic arguing, divorce or separation exists, it
is indicative of a curse and needs to be broken, for it carries over
to the next marriage, or the next generation.
1.6 Premature Death
Eccl 7:17
[Although all have sinned] be not wicked overmuch or wilfully,
neither be foolish – why should you die before your time?
Contrary to popular belief, people often die before their appointed
time. Scripture confirms that we will die (before our time) because
of our wickedness and/or foolishness of sin. Wickedness in the
family will often open a door to the curse of death and destruction
and this curse acts quickly - it gives no heed and no quarter.
Prov 2:22
But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the
transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

…the offspring of the wicked [in time] shall be cut off.
Premature deaths in a family could manifest as suicide, death by
drowning, car accidents, fires, floods, heart attacks, strokes,
cancer or whatever is physically unusual.
1.7 Mental Problems
Deut 28:28
The Lord shall smite you with madness, blindness and confusion of
[mind and] heart.
We should never discount mental problems as not being curses —
for even the secular society is convinced and accept that mental
illness is generational inherent.

· Favouritism among certain members of legal, judicial, police,
architect professions.
· An attempt to combine religious and philosophical thinking.

· Cyclical problems to return to individuals, families, schools,
businesses, churches, government and politics.
1. CURSES ON FAMILIES
1.1 Chronic Financial Curses
The first symptom of a financial type curse is a history of debt,
bankruptcy, poverty or lack of gain in the family. No matter what a
person does, nothing seems to get him/her ahead financially
(unable to find or keep jobs, layoffs, unable to establish profitable
employ - especially where no logical explanation or answer exists -
no escape from the “unexpected” bills or accidents that cause
more medical bills, physical loss of money through carelessness,
theft, mugging, robbery, high interest rates, car breakdowns and
or mechanical malfunctions).
It seems one is hardly getting ahead financially when suddenly
something happens and sets one reeling backwards. This can also
apply when one earns a great deal of money. For some there is no
logical explanation why they should not be further ahead
financially; mishandling of money, history of welfare in the family,
business failures and the like. The spirit of poverty and destruction
works through these factors and impoverishment, lack, bad debt
and destruction is a consequential curse.
Proverbs 10:15 ... the destruction of the poor is their
poverty…
Haggai 1:6 ‘You have sown much, but you have reaped little; you
eat, but you do not have enough; you drink, but you do not have
your fill; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who
earns wages has earned them to put them in a bag with holes in
it.’
In other words, your income seemingly disappears as though you
were putting it into pockets with holes … ever been there?

1.2 Chronic Sickness and Disease
The word ‘Chronic ’ means ‘of long duration’, frequent occurrence,
constantly vexing, weakening or troubling. A sign of this curse
includes a sickness that has continuously persisted from childhood
throughout life. Sicknesses and/or diseases which are unusually
drug resistant (ones that seemingly do not respond to any
medication or treatment. This includes symptoms which do not
seem to respond to prayer and a history of certain illnesses in the
family which include high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, sickle
cell anaemia, bone diseases, blood and respiratory diseases.
Deuteronomy 28:21 ‘……the “pestilence’ that cleave……’ A
pestilence is a contagious or an infectious disease, or a sickness
that is destructive or pernicious. The New English Bible states,
‘The Lord causes pestilence to haunt you ‘. To haunt means to
often visit, or come with great regularity, to recur constantly; to
stick around, to linger and to persist. Any sickness that visits as a
result of a curse holds fast and you can’t seem to get rid of it, it
“cleaves and persists” (to cleave means to stick to, to adhere or
attach firmly and or closely).
1.3 Chronic Female Problems
Another common sign of a curse is the frequent occurrence of
female problems which can take many different forms. One
form is barrenness and any lack of productivity. When the Lord
blessed man and woman He said, “Be fruitful and multiply”.
Fruitfulness and multiplication have always been the signs of
blessings and lack of children is the sign of a curse. Yet another is
“miscarriages”. Ladies who have repeatedly miscarried (after
being confirmed pregnant) can also take on the secondary curse
(spirit) of grief, sadness and or depression. According to the
Word of the Lord in Hosea 9:14, idolatry is one of the primary
causes of miscarriage. Other female type problems can obviously
include severe cramps, PMS, tormenting pain during their monthly
cycles, tumours and growths in the abdomen and womb, e.g.
hysterectomy, Fallopian tube infections and/or disfunctioning
ovaries are common especially in Freemasonry-orientated families.
Curses of infirmity that operate in these areas are a result of
idolatry.

1.4 Accident - proneness
To be accident-prone can be a curse in itself. The word prone
means to have a tendency or inclination toward. Just because
one is involved in an accident does not mean he or she is under a
curse. Being accident-prone, however, means something entirely
different. If accidents are frequent and/or continuously happening
to a person, chances are that he or she is under a curse. It is best
at this stage to investigate if there is reason for a curse to operate.
Other such accidents could include frequent falls, being poked in
the eye, accidental choking on food, being bitten by a dog or other
animal, being injured at work, accidentally shot (this is a frequent
occurrence), accidentally cutting oneself, accidentally consuming
poison, accidentally burning oneself, walking into doors or
windows and stepping off a curb and breaking an ankle (really silly
sounding stuff!). When a person has a history of accidents that
seem inexplicable, chances are that a curse is at work. Deliverance
should be sought to break the continuing cycle.
1.5 Marital Problems
Proverbs 3:33 ‘ The curse of the Lord is in and on the house of the
wicked, but He declares blessed (joyful and favoured with
blessings) the home of the just and consistently righteous.’
The household is one of the hardest hit areas of all, for the
foundation of the household is the strength of the marriage union.
The Lord often mentions that where two would come together in
anything — there is power (this is one of the very reasons why
Satanists, in particular, fast and pray against Christian marriages
and pray to usher in family breakdown). Marital problems can be
as simple as continuous arguments, fights or quarrels and these
problems are easily rooted generational (their parents also
suffered with these same issues/curses). Often people with serious
marital problems had parents or grand parents who were divorced
or involved in multiple marriages. If chronic arguing, divorce or
separation exist, it is often indicative of a curse which needs to be
broken or it may carry over to the next marriage, or the next
generation.

1.6 Premature Death
Eccl. 7:17 ‘[Although all have sinned] be not wicked overmuch or
wilfully, neither be foolish – why should you die before your time?’
Contrary to popular belief, people often die before their appointed
time. Scripture confirms that we will die (before our time) because
of our wickedness and/or foolishness of sin. Wickedness in the
family will often open a door to the curse of death and destruction
and this curse acts quickly - it gives no heed and no quarter.
Prov. 2:22 ‘ But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the
transgressors shall be rooted out of it.’
Ps. 37:28 ‘…the offspring of the wicked [in time] shall be
cut off…’
Premature deaths in a family could manifest as suicide, death by
drowning, car accidents, fires, floods, heart attacks, strokes,
cancer or whatever is physically unusual.
1.7 Mental Problems
Deut. 28:28 ‘ The Lord shall smite you with madness, blindness
and confusion of [mind and] heart.’
We should never discount mental problems as not being the result
of curses — even the secular society is convinced and accept that
mental illness is generational inherited.

2. PRAYER FOR RELEASE OF FREEMASONS AND THEIR
DESCENDANTS
If you were once a Mason or are a descendant of a Mason,
we recommend that you pray through the following
prayer from your heart. Don't be like the Masons who are
given their obligations and oaths one line at a time and
without prior knowledge of the requirements. Please read
it through first so you know what is involved. It is best to
pray this aloud with a Christian witness or counsellor
present. We suggest a brief pause following each
paragraph to allow the Holy Spirit to show any additional
issues which may require attention.
Father God, Creator of heaven and earth, I come to You in the
Name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. I come as a sinner seeking
forgiveness and cleansing from all sins committed against You and
others made in Your image. I honour my earthly father and
mother and all my ancestors of flesh and blood, and of the spirit
by adoption and godparents, but I utterly turn away from and
renounce all their sins. I forgive all my ancestors for the effects of
their sins on my children and me. I confess and renounce all my
own sins. I renounce and rebuke Satan and every spiritual power
of his affecting my family and me.
I renounce and forsake all involvement in Freemasonry or any
other lodge or craft by my ancestors and myself. I renounce
witchcraft, the principal spirit behind Freemasonry and
Baphomet, the Spirit of Antichrist and the curse of the
Luciferian doctrine. I renounce the idolatry, blasphemy,
secrecy and deception of Masonry at every level. I specifically
renounce the insecurity, the love of position and power, the
love of money, avarice or greed and the pride, which would
have led my ancestors into Masonry. I renounce all the fears,
which held them in Masonry, especially the fears of death, fears
of men, and fears of trusting, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I renounce every position held in the lodge by any of my
ancestors, including "Tyier", "Master", "Worshipful Master" or
any other. I renounce calling any man "Master" (for Jesus Christ
is my only master and Lord, and He forbids anyone else of having
that title). I renounce the entrapping of others into Masonry,
and observing the helplessness of others during the rituals. I
renounce the effects of Masonry passed on to me through any
female ancestor who felt distrusted and rejected by her
husband as he entered and attended any lodge and refused to tell
her of his secret activities.
2.1 First Degree
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I repent on behalf of my forefathers
who have crossed the threshold into the spiritual realm of
Freemasonry ascending the counterfeit Jacob’s Ladder found
in the Masonic Craft.
I repent and renounce every attractive offer/incentive that caused
my forefathers to leave the West and proceed to the Masonic
East in search of Masonic illuminations.
I repent and renounce the Masonic obligation to find a master
who would give all instruction. I declare that Jesus Christ of
Nazareth is my only Master, Lord and Saviour.
I repent on behalf of my forefathers for having opened up and
allowing the spirit of Freemasonry to enter into our families’ lives
through the Masonic doorway of their lodge (and of their
hearts) and for accepting the Masonic spirit as a
counterfeit/replacement for the Holy Spirit.
I confess and renounce the acceptance that the Masonic temple is
my Masonic mother’s womb. I reject this claim in Jesus’ Name
and declare that every active and/or passive curse associated with
any female deities, i.e. Faith, Hope, Charity, Justice and
Wisdom, including the Queen of Heaven, Jezebel, “the dark
majesty”, be broken in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I renounce and destroy all the Masonic influences and curses
associated with the Masonic Genitive Principle and with male
and/or female lust productive powers, in the Almighty Name of
Jesus.
In the Name of Jesus I break every curse associated with
spiritual blindness and/or deafness, both over my family and
myself who are suffering as a result of this spiritual robbery.
I renounce and break every resulting curse and every “passing
through the fire ceremony” or enactment by my forefathers or
myself who entered into this brotherhood of man – practicing
the doctrines of the ancient illuminists, in the Name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth.
I renounce believing the untruth that the temple is righteous or
holy ground. I declare that the lodge is not a holy place, but
unholy, and I declare, according to Eph. 6:15, that my feet are
shod with the sandals of preparation of the gospel of peace.
I renounce and break every spiritual effect of the “Blazing star”,
the indented beautiful skirt work borders/Masonic pavement and
any symbols of the first-degree tracing board. I close all
planetary inroads/pathways in Jesus’ Name. I cancel all forms
of sun worship, gateways to the sun, etc. and renounce all
dependency on the faith of/or within the zodiac signs.
I renounce and break every spiritual implication of the black and
white squared floor/carpet known as the floor of dualism, in
Jesus’ Name. I renounce the Masonic statement that proclaims
Lucifer equal to Adonai (black/white squares).
I renounce all dualism and all Masonic Yin & Yang ceremonies,
in Jesus Name. I renounce the counterfeit tree of life and
knowledge of good and evil.
I renounce the spirit of pride of the Masonic order.
I reject the statement that the Masons’ walk in life is always
righteous and I proclaim that it is the heart filled with the Holy
Spirit that allows us to govern our actions and our lives.

I reject and renounce the wearing of the white lambskin apron
and declare that neither it nor any other order in existence, e.g.
the Golden Fleece or Roman Eagle, can bring you in right standing
with God.
I declare that the Blood of Jesus Christ alone is the way to bring
us in right standing with God. I renounce the Masonic apron as
the Lamb of God.
I reject and renounce the Masonic Supreme Governor and the
Glorious Architect of Heaven and Earth as the true universal
fatherhood of God. I declare that Yahweh is the Lord God
Almighty and that He, Abba Father, is my all in all and the True
Creator of Heaven and Earth.
I renounce the Masonic statement that implies that the ‘Grand
Lodge above’ will become the proclaimed home of the
Freemason and his family and that his salvation comes by means
of some Masonic progression of good works through acts of faith,
mercy and charity. I declare that salvation is a free gift from
Jesus Christ, not of good works that any man may brag.
I renounce and smash the Masonic pillars of wisdom, strength
and beauty in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I declare
Jer. 43:13: ‘There in the temple of the sun, in Egypt, He will
demolish the sacred pillars and will burn down the temples of the
gods of Egypt’.
I renounce and reject the penal sign, the due guard and the
secret password, Boaz and all it implies, together with the
cornucopia, a living curse of witchcraft. I renounce and reject
the horn of plenty and its druid emblems together with the
wizard’s wand, in Jesus’ Name.
I renounce every Masonic handshake and pass grip of
recognition, as well as each symbol and emblem, in the Name of
Jesus. I destroy its proclaimed agreement of control from my
family and myself, in Jesus’ Name.

I renounce and destroy the power and the effect of all Masonic
obligations, in the Almighty Name of Jesus Christ.
I renounce and break every grip of Freemasonry and its every
bondage through the “Brethren of the Mystic Tie”, in the Name
of Jesus Christ.
In the Name of Jesus I renounce every counterfeit gift and
anointing and I reject all false unity.
I renounce any claims that any man-made Masonic tool would
govern my actions, day or night, in Jesus’ Name.
I renounce the lie that the Holy Bible is just mere furniture. I
declare it to be the inspired, infallible Word of God.
I renounce and break the authority of the four trace board
deities, hidden as north, south, east and west, in Jesus’ Name.
I renounce the oaths taken and the curses involved in the First
or Entered Apprentice degree, especially their effects on the
throat and tongue. I renounce the hoodwink, the blindfold,
and its effects on emotions and eyes, including all confusion,
fear of the dark, fear of the light and fear of sudden noises.
I renounce the blinding of spiritual truth, the darkness of the soul,
the false imagination, and condescension and the spirit of poverty
caused by the ritual of this degree. I also renounce the usurping
of the marriage covenant by the removal of the wedding ring.
I renounce the serpent clasp on the apron and the spirit of Python,
which it brought to squeeze the spiritual life out of me. I
renounce the ancient pagan teaching from Babylon & Egypt.
I renounce the mixing and mingling of truth and error, the
mythology, fabrications and lies taught as truth, and the
dishonesty by leaders as to the true understanding of the ritual,
and the blasphemy of this degree of Masonry. I renounce the
presentation to every compass direction, for all the Earth is the
Lord’s, and everything in it.

also every spirit causing asthma, hay fever, emphysema or
any other breathing difficulty. I renounce the compass
point, sword or spear held against the breast, the fear of
death by stabbing pain and the fear of heart attack from this
degree, as well as the absolute secrecy demanded under a
witchcraft oath and sealed by kissing the Volume of the Sacred
Law. I also renounce kneeling to the false deity known as the
Great Architect of the Universe, and humbly ask the One True God

the curses involved in the Second or Fellow Craft Degree of
Masonry, especially the curses on the heart and chest.
I renounce and break the symbolism of engaging in backward or
reverse rituals and/or charges and obligations involving
“passing”, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
I renounce and repent of my forefathers choosing to undergo
rituals involving the spirit of poverty by wearing “borrowed”
pyjamas and/or robes. I destroy the curse of poverty over my
family and myself in Jesus’ Name.

I renounce the passwords, Shibboleth and Jachin. I renounce
the ancient pagan teaching and symbolism of the Second Tracing
Board. I renounce the Sign of Reverence to the Generative
Principle. I destroy the Masonic doctrines of strength as I
expose the steps of the “winding staircase”.
I renounce every obligation and pledge given to the Temple
Master and reject his authority over my family and myself.
I renounce and destroy every effect of having my left breast torn
open and my heart plucked out and given to the fowls of the air.
In the Name of Jesus I destroy every effect of the claw and the
square over my heart.
I renounce and repent of every ritual involving the progressive
Masonic stipulated obligations and all North-East and
South-East rituals and any obligations to moral/cultural decline.
I renounce the Masonic plumb line and square and declare
that it represents false justice and counterfeit virtue. I
declare that Jesus Christ is the standard of all righteousness.
I renounce and repent of any acceptance and/or adherences to
the fifth science, their doctrines and Allegory of the
Alexandria Geometry with its magnitude and extension to A-line
and A-solid doctrines, and of the teachings of the Euclid. I
declare that they have no relevance on my right standing with God
or on the lives of my children, in Jesus’ Name.
I renounce and repent of every belief and adherence to all and
every planetary or astrological, self-improving
methodology and technique designed to overflow and flood the
mind, so as to create a divine platform to study symmetry and
to follow the New Age teachings of witchcraft. I destroy every
resultant curse from my life and the lives of my family, in Jesus’
Name.

I cut off emotional hardness, apathy, indifference, unbelief
and deep anger from my family and me. In the Name of Jesus
Christ I pray for the healing of ________________ (The chest /
lung / heart area) and also for the healing of my emotions and
ask to be made sensitive to the Holy Spirit of God.
2.3 Third Degree (Degree of Master Mason)
In the Name of Jesus Christ I renounce the oaths taken and
the curses involved in the Third or Master Mason Degree,
especially the curses on the stomach and womb area.
I renounce and destroy every spiritual and mental effect of the
secret words maha bone (mah-bah-bone), machaben
(machbinna) and all that they mean. I break any resultant
curses of ‘lumps and cancer’ in Jesus Name. I renounce the
ancient pagan teaching and symbolism of the Third Tracing
Board used in the ritual.
I renounce the Spirit of Death from the blows to the head
enacted as ritual murder, the fear of death, false martyrdom, fear
of violent gang attack, assault, or rape, and the helplessness of
this degree. I renounce the falling into the coffin or stretcher
involved in the ritual of murder. I renounce the false resurrection
of this degree because only Jesus Christ is the resurrection and
life.
I repent and renounce the practice of necromancy and for
having engaged in rituals of mortality. I also renounce the
blasphemous kissing of the Bible on a witchcraft oath. I cut off all
spirits of death, witchcraft and deception.
I renounce and destroy every curse of the ritual obligation to have
my body cut in half and divided to the north and the south, my
bowels burnt to ashes in the centre and the ashes scattered to
the four winds of heaven.
I renounce and destroy every curse resulting from rituals;
prayers and obligations pertaining to worship in the Masonic
counterfeit Temple of king Solomon.

I cancel all worship and break the authority given to satan over my
life and the lives of my family, in Jesus’ Name. I further declare
that there exists no relationship between this temple and the true
Temple of the Living God.
I renounce and rebuke the spiritual power of the password, Tubal
Cain, and sever every ungodly soul tie to this death curse, in
Jesus’ Name. I destroy every curse of death and premature
death over my family and myself, in the Almighty Name of Jesus
Christ.
I renounce and reject every familiar spirit that was engaged
through the acts of necromancy and spiritualism and of the
symbolic murder practiced in re-enactment and the heretic
“ineffable name of god” ritual. I renounce and destroy every
resultant rebellion and purposeful demonic authority, in the
Name of Jesus.
I renounce and destroy every ritual, charge and implication of the
password, Shibboleth, as well as its curse of death, in the
Name of Jesus. I cancel and nullify every contract and
proclamation of the winding staircase ritual in Jesus Name.
I renounce and destroy every curse of the rituals, obligations and
agreements of Hiram Abiff (counterfeit spirit of resurrection and
the Masonic Master). I renounce the false resurrection of this
degree, and I declare Jesus Christ as the only Resurrection and
that He is the Lord and Master of my life.
I renounce and destroy every curse associated with the “skull
and bones” rituals and its charges as well as every mortality
tool and associate obligation in the brotherhood.
I renounce and reject the counterfeit baptism, in Jesus’ Name.
I proclaim the following: Because I have a sovereign will given to
me by God, my Creator, I choose to be a member of the family of
Yahweh God of Israel only.

By receiving His Son Jesus Christ as my Saviour, and having been
cleansed from all my sin by the Blood of Jesus, I declare that I
have been born again into the Kingdom of God and that God is my
Father through the covenant made by the Blood of Jesus.
I choose to renounce my membership of the family of Freemasons
and all privileges linked to and promised by that membership and
declare that by going into the water at my Biblical baptism I
symbolically lay down the Freemason family membership on behalf
of myself and all the members of my family. I take back our
adoption papers as members of the Freemason family and hand
them to Yahweh God of Israel to destroy with His fire. I take every
oath that I have sworn and every covenant made with death and
every curse attached to these oaths and covenants and nail them
to the cross of Jesus Christ according to Col. 2:14 to be nullified
and I fire the demons attached to these curses and silence all
witnesses testifying against me in the spirit.
As I come up out of the water I symbolically declare that I have
cancelled my membership to the family of Freemasons into the
family of God and that the declaration of the symbolism of my
getting into and out of the coffin when entering the Freemason
family is completely reversed and that the resurrection of my spirit
will be in God’s eternal Kingdom through the resurrection power of
Jesus Christ and that I and every member of my family have in all
ways been cut loose legally from the Freemason bloodline.
I renounce and reject the ritualistic grip of the lion paw and cut
my family and myself loose in Jesus’ Name.
I cut my family and myself loose from the five points of
‘fellowship’ and declare them to be five points in the art of
witchcraft. I destroy those five points in my and my family’s lives
in Jesus’ Name.
I renounce the authority of the Temple Master and his two
wardens that were present at the raising or rebirth rituals, in
Jesus’ Name.
I renounce and destroy every power of the magic ritual and of the
“theratic circle ritual” in the raising degree, in Jesus’ Name.

I repent of having placed the square and compass both over
and physically upon the Word of God.

order from my life and the lives of my family and declare a divorce
in Jesus’ Name.
I renounce and destroy every spiritual effect of the Master
Masons’ Certificate in Jesus’ Name. Father, burn it up in the
spirit in Jesus’ Name and destroy all witnesses and testimonies
against my family and me, in Jesus’ Name.
I destroy every curse of abandonment of the family due to and
caused by the “Masonic ring of betrothal”, in Jesus’ Name. I bind
every spirit of divorce in my family in Jesus’ Name and break
every curse of divorce, separation, isolation, loneliness and
desolation, in Jesus’ Name.
I renounce each and every spiritual implication of ritual Masonic
teaching that implied that mankind remained fully possessed of
wild savagery, liberty and were mutually afraid of and offensive to
each other; who hid themselves in thickets, woods, dens and
caverns of the earth, poor recesses and gloomy solitudes until they
were found by a “Grand Geometrician of the Universe”, who
then established order to all chaos by “Masonic degrees of
perfection”.
I renounce the Masonic statement that implies the divine
teachings of the Almighty are founded in the study of astronomy
and/or the world system.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray for the healing of
_________________ (the stomach, gall bladder, womb, liver, and
any other organs of my body affected by Masonry), and I ask for a
release of compassion and understanding for my family and me.

2.4 Holy Royal Arch Degree
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I renounce and forsake the oaths
taken and the curses involved in the Holy Royal Arch Degree
of Masonry, especially the oath regarding the removal of the
head from the body and the exposing of the brains to the
hot sun. I renounce the Mark Lodge, and the mark in the form
of squares and angles which marks the person for life. I also
reject the jewel or talisman that may have been made from this
mark sign and worn at lodge meetings. I renounce the false
secret name of God, JAHBULON, and the password, AMMI
RUHAMAH and all they mean. I renounce the false
communion or Eucharist taken in this degree, and all the
mockery, scepticism and unbelief about the redemptive work
of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. I cut off all these curses
and their effects on me and my family in the Name of Jesus Christ,
and I pray for the healing of the brain, the mind etc.
2.5 Eighteenth Degree
I renounce the oaths taken and the curses involved in the
eighteenth degree of Masonry, the Most Wise Sovereign
Knight of the Pelican and the Eagle and Sovereign Prince
Rose Croix of Heredom. I renounce and reject the Pelican
witchcraft spirit, as well as the occultic influence of the
Rosicrucians and the Cabala in this degree. I renounce the
claim that the death of Jesus Christ was a "dire calamity" and also
the deliberate mockery and twisting of the Christian doctrine of the
Atonement. I renounce the blasphemy and rejection of the deity
of Jesus Christ, and the secret words IGNE NATURA

sister and wife of Osiris and also the moon goddess. I

2.7 Thirty-second Degree

renounce the hoodwink, the mock hanging, the mock

I renounce the oaths taken and the curses involved in the
thirty-third degree of Masonry, the Grand Sovereign
Inspector General. I renounce the secret passwords,

MICHA, MACHA, BEALIM, and ADONAI and all they mean.

The OSSEWA BRANDWAG was a semi military organization

Die Vierkleur hoog”.
Die Vierkleur was the flag of Paul Kruger’s old Transvaal
Republic. Literally this means the Vierkleur high. In the spirit, the
meaning is subtly different being an invocation to keep the flag
flying in the name of the revolution. It became a greeting for
Leibrandt’s followers and was accompanied by a salute: the right
arm held close to the body, the forearm then jerked up to about
45º with the palm held open. As in Germany, this was done to

PART I:
HISTORY AND INFORMATION
The Afrikaner Broeder Bond has employed philosophy, actions and
machinations and extra-parliamentary activities in every sphere;
social, economic, political and religious institutions that protected
the interests and the welfare of our ‘volk’, at the expense of other
racial groups.
They have used Scripture to justify their actions, since the very
soul of Afrikaner Nationalism is bound up with the Calvinistic
philosophies: the twin doctrines of ‘Divine Election’ and
‘Predestination’, which they accepted as to be Biblical, and also the
‘Tulip Doctrine of Calvyn’.
The Afrikaner saw themselves as the chosen of God, and regarded
South Africa as their promised land and this special religious
identity was pivotal in the policy of separate development as
propagated by the Dutch Reformed Church and the Afrikaner
Broeder Bond and the government of that time.
They confused religious separateness on the basis of race and
colour, which eventually culminated in Doctrinaire Verwoerdian
Apartheid, also called “Baasskap”, as reflected by the following
quotes:
The words of Dr. D.F. Malan:
“The history of the Afrikaner reveals a determination and a
definiteness of purpose, which makes one feel that Afrikanerdom
is not the work of man, but a creation of God. We have a divine
right to be Afrikaners. Our history is the highest work of art of the
Architect of the centuries.”
Adolf Hitler recorded this in Mein Kampf:
“It was the Aryan alone who formed a superior type of humanity;
therefore he represents the archetype of what we understand by
the term: man …… it is not by mere chance that the first forms
of civilization arose from where the Aryan came into contact with
inferior races, subjugated them and forced them to obey his
command!”

“I belong to the Broeder Bond and I have attended many
of its meetings ……”
that he would conduct an inquiry into the Broeder Bond provided
that a similar inquiry by conducted into the affairs of the ‘Sons of
England’. The Dutch Reformed Church conducted an investigation
in 1949 and concluded that
“…..the Broeder Bond was a healthy organization run on
non-political lines to further the interests of the Afrikaner
nations” (as recorded in the debate between the United Party
and the Nationalist Party in parliament – 1948) Thus the church
gave divine sanction.
The Kantian and Hegelian philosophies were introduced into the
theology of the Christian faith by Kierkegaard, all in Jesus Name.
IMMANUEL KANT – GERMAN PHILOSOPHER; ‘KANTIAN
PHILOSOPHY’
Until Kantian philosophy began to influence the
intellectuals of the age, classical philosophy was based
upon the process of antithesis, which means that the man
thought in terms of cause and effect. This means if “A” is
true, that “Non-A” cannot be true also, according to the
classical philosophy, values were absolute.
The world at large accepted these possibilities of absolutes in both
knowledge and morals. Before Kant, you could reason with a
person on the basis of cause and effect. However, this one man
and his critiques began to question whether people could actually
accept things beyond the five senses. Kant’s analysis of the
process of thought, proposed that no one can know anything
except by experience. He believed that individual freedom lies in
obedience to the moral law that speaks within us.
GEORGE W.F. HEGEL (1770 – 1831)
This then triggered the ideas which would result in the
philosophy of Hegel, who was known as the “…..
Philosophical dictator of Germany”. He believed that one
fact or idea (thesis) working against another face
(antithesis) would produce a new fact (synthesis).

This philosophy was the basis of the communistic political
and economic ideas of Karl Marx and the national
socialism of Adolf Hitler. Hegel glorified the state. He
taught that the state did not have to obey moral laws, nor
did governments have to keep agreements. Hitler
followed this philosophy to perfection. According to
Hegelian thought, everything was relative – there were no
absolutes, only terms of relativity. There was no need for
ultimate truth. This philosophy permeated the higher
educational systems of Europe and America.
SOREN KIERKEGAARD (1813 – 1855)
Born in Denmark, he rejected the beliefs of the Lutheran
church and became the father of existentialism. His
writings are a denial of the basic tenets of the Christian
faith and show a disdain for those who do not agree with
his intellectual pursuits. He was the first man to launch a
system of thought with despair as the underlying current.
Two books written: ‘Fear and Trembling’ and ‘The
sickness unto death’. He believed that man will never find
any definite reasons for truth and for life. He denied the
fact that light shines upon the Christian whereas darkness
broods over paganism, since serious artists are
rejuvenated by the eternal youth of the Greek race!
It was this Kierkegaard philosophy that swept the intellectual
world at that time as he introduced the tenets of Kant and Hegel
into theology of the Christian faith. The idea that there is no
rational basis for thing beyond the five senses, but that we must
take an irrational leap of blind faith to find purpose in life, came
out of Kant’s teaching. (existential thought).
Thus the philosophical framework which greatly influenced
theologians and others, such as Karl Barth (neo-orthodoxy),
Charles Darwin; Sigmund Freud; Richard Wagner; J.F. Fichte;
Schopenauer and Houston Steward Chamberlain – the spiritual
father of the Third Reich – whom the Nazis acclaimed as their
prophet. During the Hitler regime many of his articles, books and
pamphlets poured from the presses extolling “the spiritual founder
of National Socialist Germany.”

In 1936 the doctrine of ‘LEWENSBESKOUING’ was published which
stated the implacable rejection of human equality.
The Afrikaner Broeder Bond’s objectives were disguised as
cultural, when in fact they were political, social, economic and
religious and their role was pivotal in shaping the history of
Afrikaner Nationalism.
THE SEVENFOLD IDEAL OF THE BROEDER BOND:
(published by the Transvaler on December 14, 20, & 30, 1944 and
January 3, 1945 as written by I.M. Lombard).
1. The removal of everything in conflict with South
Africa’s full international
Independence.
2. The end of the inferiority of the Afrikaner-speaking
and of their language in
the organization of the state.
3. Separation of all non-white races in South Africa,
leaving them free to
independent development under the guardianship of
whites.
4. Putting a stop to the exploitation of the resources
and population of South
Africa by stranger, including the more intensive
industrial development.
5. The rehabilitation of the farming community and the
assurance of civilized
self-support through work for all white citizens.
6. The nationalization of the money market and the
systematic co-ordination of
economic policies.

7. The Afrikanerization of public life and teaching and
education in a Christian National Spirit, while leaving
free the internal development of all sections
insofar as it is not dangerous to the state.
It is important to realize that the aims of the Broeder Bond bear a
striking resemblance to the constitution of the National Party of
S.A. as it is stated in their ‘Constitution and Programme of
Principles’.
The Bond sought to work underground and placed many
Afrikaners in prominent key positions in banks, teachers’
associations, educational institutions, rescue action societies,
‘protectors’ of the Mine Workers Union, Moderators for three
consecutive Synods of the Dutch Reformed Church, and Presidents
of Language and Culture Associations. Their ultimate objective
being:
“Let us focus our attention on the fact that the primary
consideration is: whether Afrikanerdom will reach its
ultimate destiny of domination “Baasskap” in South Africa.
Brother, our solution of South Africa’s ailments is not
whether one party or another shall obtain the whip in the
hand, but that the Afrikaner Broeder Bond shall govern
South Africa!”
THE TULIP DOCTRINE OF CALVYN:
TOTAL DEPRAVITY
Meaning that man is marked by corruption or evil and
cannot do anything about it. Man is totally helpless and
hopeless. He is unable to even make a decision.
UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION
Meaning that you are chosen for salvation through divine
mercy. You are chosen or set apart as by divine favour.
Also meaning a select or exclusive group of people. Out of
that state of total depravity God will elect a certain group
for Himself. If you are the elect, there is also nothing you
can do about it, not even in terms of a decision.

LIMITED ATONEMENT
Meaning that Jesus only died for a certain few, referring to
an exclusive group of people. This is characterized by
enforceable limitations prescribed. This offers superior
value on this group.
IRRESISTABLE GRACE
This means that there is unmerited divine assistance given
to man for his regeneration or sanctification.
Subsequently if you are one of the elect, you are not able
to resist God’s grace or favour.
PREDESTINATION
This is the doctrine that God, in consequence of His
foreknowledge of all events, infallibly guides those who
are destined for salvation.
This is a Jezebelic policy of domination, intimidation and
manipulation and control. There was a networking of this Bond
during the reign of the National Party, who, over a period of 50
years, achieved a monopoly of White power for the Afrikaners.
They infiltrated the cabinet ministers, the parliamentarians,
churches and their councils, the educational institutions, the
police, the labour and civil services, the agricultural and farming
communities, the media, the sport and recreation bodies and the
social, health, and welfare systems of our country.
Furthermore, the Broeders unified Afrikaner Fascists under the
banner of Social Nationalism during the war period when they
sided with Hitler and Nazism. Rebellion caused direct conflict
between the English and Afrikaners and they resisted the
Smuts/Hertzog government.
Many divisions and factions developed within the ranks of the
church as this elitist group dominated the church. This brought
the body of the Lord Jesus Christ into disrepute and with our
permission and the church’s sanction, this group controlled the
lives of 31 million people. Their power remained unchallenged for
50 years.

There was the policy of white supremacy, which was constantly
elaborated and extended. It had the most devastating effects on
the Black, Indian and Coloured communities. In order to weaken
and divide the African peoples, mythical states (13% of the land)
were established under white guardianship since the people of
colour were viewed as little children. Consequently, we created a
culture of political and economic inter-dependence utilizing
legislation as tools of oppression.
Whilst these laws protected them, it brought untold misery, death
and destruction for countless millions.
The policy of the Bantu Education Act ensured that a lack of
education prevented other races from attaining a position of
equality. Millions were subjected to sub-standard ‘guttereducation’
where they qualified for inferior jobs. In many cases
illiteracy was enforced, causing many people to sink into the mire
of poverty and degradation. Many were paid a pittance in wages
and countless were enslaved with a daily ration of alcohol as part
of their compensation.
The White Workers Protection Society’s primary task was to
support and propagate a clear distinction between jobs for whites
and those of other racial groups. These policies culminated in the
Job Reservations Act.
This policy was applied on every level: agricultural, commercial,
industrial and professional. Apart from the discrimination in
salaries, those who qualified at university level, were unable to
pursue their prospective careers, forcing them to seek employment
in other countries.
Countless millions suffered at the hands of these social engineers,
sanctioned by the church. Defenceless citizens were indeed the
victims of full-blown Nazism!
The Racial Classification Act, ‘Apartheid in the blood’, caused
extreme humiliation and severe strain placed on families, the
tearing apart of families, many acts of terror and exposure along
racial lines and the creating of an identity dilemma.

The Group Areas Act was applied with great zeal and utter
rigidity. Not only were whole communities evicted from their
homes and impoverished, but the Act uprooted thousands of
families in thriving settled communities and dumped them into
barren wastelands – older people were reported to have died at
the sheer anxiety of having to move.
This Act swept the country like a giant scythe, which led to
financial enrichment and ease for many white families. The forced
removal and resettlement of 4 million South Africans, closely
resembles that of Nazi Germany, in conjunction with the
Separate Amenities Act, the Pass Laws, and the total
disenfranchisement of the majority of the population.
SECRET OATHS AND RITUALS
This induction ceremony culminated in swearing a sacred oath to
God, carrying the secrets of the Bond to the grave.
One of the decrees reads: “He who betrays the Bond will be
destroyed by the Bond. The Bond never forgets.
Its vengeance is swift and sure. Never yet has a traitor
escaped his just punishment”.
There were the 2000 cultural affiliations, under the auspices of the
F.A.K. Their doctrines all promote and foster racial inequality and
separation in the Name of Jesus, in particular:
· The Afrikaner Orde – the counterpart of the
Germanen Order
· The Rapportryers – the counterpart of the Rotary /
Lions Club
· The Afrikaanse Studentebond
· The S.A. Bureau for Racial Affairs.
Our children were indoctrinated with these philosophies through
the Voortrekker Movement for the youth; of which the super elite
were selected to join the secret Ruiterwag, the Bond’s youth wing
– where the same induction ceremony was conducted and where
ungodly oaths were sworn to the Bond. There were the Watch

Councils and the Watch Post activities, as well as networks and
liaisons and subversive activities.
There was the ‘Broedertwis’ - all bitter feuds, banishing many
into the Afrikaner limbo, the character assassinations, and the
heartache brought to countless families. There were watchdog
committee activities, also known as ‘task forces’, as well as the
Bond’s ‘police force’.
Many acts of violence took place against other racial groups in the
name of Volk and Vaderland. We will never know of the extent of
the murders that took place during the Apartheid era.
THE OXWAGON TREK AND THE VOORTREKKER
MONUMENT
A symbolic oxwagon Trek took place in 1938, organized by the
Bond (Henning Klopper and the ATKV) and it played a significant
role to reunite the Afrikaner nation.
It created in stead, strains, factions and divisions within the
government and between Afrikaner and English communities. The
‘Christian Spirit’ also excluded all the Jewish government officials
at that time.
Then, the altar of the nation – the sarcophagus (a coffin made of
limestone) in the Monument (the church of the nation) which
represents the vastness of Africa. Because of their sacrifice made
through blood and tears, the Afrikaners claim this to be their
rightful ownership. In reality, this monument, which is a replica of
the Vulkerschlegter Museum in Leipzig, Germany, is rooted in
Egyptian occultism.
TERRITORIAL SPIRITS
Teachings of mystics, seers, sectarians and occultists, who were
violently anti-Semitic, anti-Jehovah and anti-Christ, played also a
major role.

INDUCTION
The Broeder Bond’s induction ceremony is a darkly dramatic affair
that culminates in a sacred oath before God to carry the secrets of
the organization to the grave. As the newe recruit stands on the
threshold of admission to the ranks of the Super-Afrikaners, his
knowledge of them is scant and vague. They have framed the
ceremony with a caution, which is typical of all their activities.
Like the recruitment process, it has several cut-off points so that
the recruit is exposed gradually to revelations of the organization’s
inner secrets. At each of these points he must acknowledge that
he is in accord with everything he has heard so far and wishes the
induction to proceed to the next phase.
The version of the ceremony which was approved in 1974 may be
considered refined, compared with the bizarre, ritualistic
enrolment procedure of the Broeder Bond’s early days. Then,
according to reports, there was a dramatic rite with a “body” on a
bier, transfixed with a dagger. The dummy’s winding sheet was
embroidered in blood red, with the word “Verraad” (Treason).
Every member had to stab it with a dagger, symbolically indicating
the penalty of betrayal. The “chaplain” conducting the ceremony
intoned: “He who betrays the Bond will be destroyed by the Bond.
The Bond never forgets. Its vengeance is swift and sure. Never
yet has a traitor escaped his just punishment.”
The constitution, standing orders and induction rubric now contain
no description of this macabre ritual. But even in its modified form
the induction ceremony remains a chilling affair that could come
straight from the pages of fiction.
It takes place at night in a darkened room. Two candles give the
only illumination. The venue is usually a member’s home, or a
regular branch meeting-place. The windows are shrouded and all
sources of light masked. At the top of the room is a table draped
with the South African flag. As a symbol of Afrikaner exclusivity
and rejection of the British, whose oppression of the Afrikaners
was the original raison d’etre of the Broeder Bond, the Unionjack
in the flag is covered; otherwise flags of the former Boer republics
are used.

There is a flickering candle at each end of the table. Standing
behind it, is the Broeder who will conduct the induction ceremony,
usually the chairman of the branch. The recruit is escorted into
the room by his sponsors and stands facing the table. Silently, the
branch members – who are not known by him to be Broeders –
file into the room and stand, unseen, behind him. Those who will
contribute to the ceremony, have torches to read their passages
from the induction handbook. Now the emotional and
psychological preparation for the induction begins.
There may be a hymn, the only optional part of the ceremony, and
then the chairman instructs the branch members that “in these
moments of deep seriousness” they must recall their own
induction and treat the ceremony as a reaffirmation of their
commitment to the organization. This is followed by a scripture
reading and a prayer. Then the induction itself begins.
CHAIRMAN – reads the full name of the recruit and says: Your
fellow-Afrikaners who are members of the Afrikaner Broeder Bond
have, after careful consideration, decided to invite you to become
a member of this organization.
For this reason, you have been called here to learn what the
principles and ideals of the Afrikaner Broeder Bond are and, after
you have heard and accepted what will be expected of you as a
member, to make a solemn and binding promise of trust.
But first it is necessary that you comply with two conditions.
Firstly, nobody who is a member of any secret or semi-secret
organization, or is in any way connected with such an organization
apart from the Ruiterwag (the Broeder Bond’s Junior organization),
may be a member of the Afrikaner Broeder Bond, except with the
approval of the Executive Council.
CHAIRMAN – reads the full name of the recruit and says: Do
you solemnly declare, in the presence of the witnesses here
gathered, that you are not a member of, or in any way connected
with, any secret or semi-secret organization?
What is your answer?
RECRUIT – replies: Yes.

CHAIRMAN – Secondly, you must know that the confidentiality of
the Afrikaner Broeder Bond and its activities is one of the most
important characteristics, and that the strictest protection of that
confidentiality is demanded in the interests of the Bond and its
members, and in your own interests – reads the full name of the
recruit and says: Do you then solemnly declare, in all seriousness
and sincerity, before these gathered witnesses, that you will reveal
nothing of what you are told, or of what you learn here, about the
Afrikaner Broeder Bond and its members?
RECRUIT – replies: Yes.
CHAIRMAN – Now that you have complied with these conditions,
the following can be revealed to you.
The Afrikaner Broeder Bond is born from a deep conviction that
the Afrikaner nation, with its own characteristics and destiny, was
placed in this country by God the Three-in-One, and that this
nation has been called to remain in existence as long as it pleases
God.
The members of the Afrikaner Broeder Bond are Afrikaners, aware
of their calling, who strive to live out the best in our nation, and to
serve.
The Afrikaner Broeder Bond is wholly devoted to the service of the
Afrikaner nation and does not exist to serve or promote the
personal interests of its members. Those who join do so to give,
not to receive; to serve, not to be served or personally
advantaged.
On the basis of our belief in God, and in His service and honour,
the Afrikaner Broeder Bond aims to unite its members in a strong
bond of mutual trust and love of their nation; to bind them in
love, despite their differences; to work selflessly for the
establishment of a healthy common purpose among all Afrikaners
who strive for the welfare and advancement of all interests of the
Afrikaner nation.

Because membership of the Afrikaner Broeder Bond entails great
responsibility, it is necessary that you carefully consider what will
be expected of you. Therefore, I call upon a number of
experienced Broeders to inform you about this. At this point a
number of branch members will, with the aid of their torches, read
the following passages:
FIRST BROEDER – It will be expected of you that you will live
and work in the firm belief that the Almighty God determines the
destiny of nations; and it will be expected of you that you will
cling to the Christian national viewpoint of the Afrikaner, as
prescribed by the Word of God and the traditions of the Afrikaner
nation.
SECOND BROEDER - It will be expected of you that you will
always remain true to yourself and your conscience, but that you
will also respect the right of your fellow Broeders to be different;
that you will always remember that we are irrevocably bound
together in our faith in the Afrikaner Broeder Bond, of one heart,
one outlook, one struggle, but not the same.
FIRST BROEDER –It will be expected of you that you will do all
in your power to establish and promote a common purpose among
all motivated Afrikaners; to strengthen and develop the Afrikaner
nation; and, in particular, to promote its culture and extend its
role in the national economy.
SECOND BROEDER – It will be expected of you that you will
steadfastly fulfil your duties as a member and that you will
faithfully attend the monthly branch meetings.
FIRST BROEDER – It will be expected of you that you will strive
for the achievement of the Bond’s ideals, not only through cooperation
in organized endeavours, but also through individual
action in your own work circle, family life and sphere of influence
inspired and strengthened by your fellow Broeders and guided by
the Bond’s principles and ideals; and that you will co-operate
actively and faithfully with your fellow Broeders in a spirit of true
common purpose and sincere brotherhood.

SECOND BROEDER – It will be expected of you that you will at
all times in your behaviour uphold the honour, value and good
name of the Afrikaner Broeder Bond.
CHAIRMAN – Brotherhood demands of you work and rugged
perseverance. At times it demands conflict and unpleasantness.
It not only demands the combating of that which is evil, but more
especially obedience to and the practice of Christian principles.
CHAIRMAN – Reads the full name of the recruit and says: Do
you understand the purpose that we have in mind, and the spirit
that the Afrikaner Broeder Bond embodies? From your heart, do
you subscribe to the basis and objectives of our struggle as
presented to you? Are you now ready to accept the demands of
membership and to undertake an irrevocable union?
RECRUIT – replies: Yes.
CHAIRMAN – I ask you the, in the presence of the Broeders here
gathered who have been called as witnesses if, in full awareness
of the seriousness of your promise and the responsibility you are
taking upon yourself, you solemnly undertake:
1. faithfully and sincerely to serve the Afrikaner nation through
the Afrikaner Broeder Bond in all that it stands for –
2. never in your life to reveal to any outsider anything you
learn about the
Afrikaner Broeder Bond and its members, particularly the
membership of a fellow
Broeder, even if your own membership is ended, unless you
have received prior
Permission from the Executive Council of the Afrikaner
Broeder Bond –
3. never to reveal your own membership of the Afrikaner
Broeder Bond, without the
permission of the Executive Council of the Afrikaner Broeder
Bond;

4. never to become a member of any secret or semi-secret
organization, or to involve
yourself by co-operation with any such organization, without
the permission of the Executive Council of the Afrikaner
Broeder Bond;
5. to subject yourself to the conditions of the constitution and
standing orders, to
fulfill the duties that the Bond Executive may lay down
according to the standing orders, and to subject yourself
readily to the brotherly discipline that the Bond Executive
may apply according to the standing orders;

You. Do not abhor, condemn and spurn us, for Your
Name’s sake; do not dishonour, debase and lightly esteem

covenant or Your solemn pledge with us we pray”.

“O Lord, do not earnestly remember against us the iniquity
and guilt of our forefathers! Let Your compassion and
tender mercy speedily come forth to meet us, for we are

Father, in Jesus Name, I confess before You that both I and my
ancestors have sinned against You. We have employed
philosophy, actions and machinations and extra-parliamentary
activities in every sphere; and we have used Scripture to justify
our actions.
Father, as a member of the Body of Jesus Christ, and as a fellow
South African, I sincerely repent for:
· The misrepresentation of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour

THE BROEDER BOND
Heavenly Father, Your Word declares that if we walk in the light
and have fellowship with one another, the Blood of Jesus Your
Son, cleanses us from all sin and its manifestations. (1 John 1:7).
Furthermore, in Eph. 5:11-13 we are to take no part in and have
no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises of darkness,
but instead, our lives should be in contrast, so as to expose and

mention the things that people practice in secret. But when
anything is exposed and reproved by the Light, it is made visible
and clear and where everything is made visible and clear, there is

destined for salvation.
Father, I renounce this Jezebelic policy of domination, intimidation,
manipulation and control. In the Name of Jesus, I ask forgiveness
for this networking of the Bond during the reign of the National
Party.
Father, forgive us for years of passivity, for allowing the forces of
darkness to wield power and control over this nation, with our
permission.
I repent Father, for the sin of anti-Semitism in the Name of Jesus.
I further repent for the sin of rebellion.
I repent for all the divisions and factions within the ranks of the
church which were caused by us.

Father, I bring before Your this policy of White supremacy. I ask
forgiveness, whilst these laws protected us, it brought untold
misery, death and destruction for countless millions. I deeply

into the mire of poverty and degradation.
I confess before You, Father, that we prevented people of other
racial groups to advance in their various callings and redemptive
gifts and abilities. We deprived them of a livelihood, perpetuating
the curse of poverty, depravation and forcing them to live in
slums. I ask for forgiveness in the Name of Jesus. Our ancestors,
our children and we have advanced and benefited greatly at the
expense of countless millions. We hereby repent and sherever
possible, help to make amends.
I repent of and renounce all the clandestine, ultra secret activities
of the Bond since 1948, together with all Neo Fascist
preoccupation of race and colour, which paralleled the Nuremburg
race laws of Nazi Germany of 1935.
Heavenly Father, we allowed countless millions to suffer. I humbly
repent for the enormity of these crimes against defenceless
citizens – they were indeed the victims of full-blown Nazism.
I specifically repent for the Racial Classification Act, ‘Apartheid
in the blood’, for the humiliation, for the severe strain placed on
families, the tearing apart of families, for all acts of terror and
exposure along racial lines and for creating an identity dilemma. I
repent for the acts of mercilessness – these scars remain with us
to this day. Please forgive us.
I also bring before You’re the sin of the Group Areas Act.

I pray Heavenly Father, in the mighty Name of our Saviour Jesus
Christ, that as I repent, that You will please remove from us all the
curses written in Your Book that will befall us because of all these
evil practices.
I acknowledge that this form of idolatry and greed and the cry of
the oppressed, has reached Your ears.
I acknowledge that these iniquities have caused a separation
between us, as recorded in Your Word in Isa. 59:1. Further, Your
Word declares in James 5:4 – “But look here are the wages
that you have withheld by fraud from the labourers who
have reaped your fields, crying out for vengeance, and the
cries of the harvesters have come to the ears of the Lord
of Hosts”.
Lord, I wish to become accountable for other acts of
unrighteousness that cause You to turn Your face away from us:
· Moving of boundaries
· Misleading people
· Perversion of justice
· Betrayal
· Sexual uncleanness
· Bribery and corruption
· Broken treaties
I humbly repent Father, please release us from the consequences
and give us total acquittal from the reaping process through the
Blood of Jesus Christ.

SECRET OATHS AND RITUALS
Heavenly Father, I bring before You the induction ceremony.
I confess before You as sin and hereby wish to renounce and
forsake all the oaths of allegiance, and the sevenfold promises
made. Furthermore, I ask that You will, by the power of the Holy
Spirit and with the sword of the Spirit, sever us from the
‘irrevocable union’ between myself, my family and the Bond.

Bond, that brought division between me and my spouse, be
destroyed. I break all soul ties between us and the Afrikaner
Broeder Bond and cancel all witnesses against us, in Jesus Name.
I also bring this decree before You, Father:

Bond never forgets. Its vengeance is swift and sure. Never yet
has a traitor escaped his just punishment”.

commissioned to enforce this decree from their power and

Father, I repent of and renounce as sin and loose myself from the
bizarre, ritualistic procedures:
· The winding sheet, embroidered in blood red with the word
“verraad” – (treason)
· The body laid on the bier transfixed with a dagger
· The plunging of the dagger – symbolically indicating the
penalty of betrayal
· The two candles in a darkened room providing illumination
as all windows are shrouded and all sources of light masked
· The table draped with the flag – a symbol of Afrikaner
exclusivity
Father, please forgive us for our arrogance, short-sightedness,
greed, corruption, lust for power, intimidation, manipulation,
control and for enforced methods of slavery, to keep these
structures in power.
I hereby renounce and repent of all worship given to principalities
and powers who controlled these political archetypes.
I further renounce and pull down all archetypal thought structures
based on Aryan philosophies, contrary to Your Word, Your will and
Your purposes, especially those which concern the destiny of other
races.

Father, I renounce the undertaking of all secret death rituals. I
break the covenant with the spirit of death. I bind and rebuke
every spirit of death and forbid them to operate in our lives.
Father, forgive us for our involvement with the 2000 cultural
affiliations, under the auspices of the F.A.K. I renounce their
doctrines; all of which promote and foster racial inequality and
separation in Jesus’ Name, in particular:
· The Afrikaner Orde – the counterpart of the Germanen Order
· The Rapportryers – the counterpart of the Rotary / Lions

Heavenly Father, our children were indoctrinated with these
philosophies. The same induction ceremony was conducted and

forsake all involvement and all allegiances pledged to these
organizations. I further renounce the Watch Councils and the
Watch Post activities, as well as all networks and liaisons and
subversive activities.
Lord, I bring before You the ‘Broedertwis’ – all bitter feuds,
banishing many into the Afrikaner limbo, the character
assassinations, and the heartache brought to countless families.
Please forgive us for sowing seeds of discord and disunity in Jesus
Name. I distance myself from all watchdog committee activities
also known as “task forces” as well as the Bond’s ‘police force’, in
Jesus Name.
I ask forgiveness where an oath of allegiance to the Broeders
caused me to act unjustly within a given sphere of influence. I
pray Lord, that all acts of injustice and unrighteousness will be
exposed, according to Your Word in Psalm 90:8 – “Our
iniquities, our secret heart and its sins, which we would so
like to conceal even from ourselves, You have set in the
revealing light of Your countenance”.

Lord, where we kept our silence in fear of reprisal, please forgive
us. Please remove this iniquity from our lives and help us to
respond in Your agape love and help us to keep Your Word hidden
in our hearts at all times.
Finally Lord, I bring before You all acts of violence against other
racial groups, in the name of Volk and Vaderland. Your Word
declares that the shedding of innocent blood is condemned by
You. Although we may never know the extent of the murders that
took place during the Apartheid era, Your Word declares that You
will require an accounting, and that the city will have to carry the
bloodguilt. We also know that bloodshed defiles the land and that
no atonement can be made except by the Blood of Jesus.
Father, I repent on behalf of myself, my ancestors and my nation
for these terrible crimes. I now counter-petition at Your throne of
grace and ask, that if there is blood crying out for vengeance, that
the blood be quietened. Please release us through the Blood of
Jesus Christ and grant unto us total forgiveness. I also ask that all
the prototype bondages in the spiritual realm be removed from our
lives in Jesus Name.
Lord, I bring before You the symbolic ox wagon trek of 1938.
I repent for the strains, factions and divisions it created.
I repent for the “Christian spirit’ that excluded all the Jewish
government officials at that time.
Lord, I repent and renounce this pilgrimage to the Monument
Koppie. I renounce the burning torch (symbol of nationhood) and
the two torches brought by relays from Dingaan’s Kraal and from
Cape Town. I renounce the enormous bonfire into which these
torches were flung.
I realize Father, that the re-enactment of the Great Trek 100 years
later, which started at Van Riebeeck’s statue, with the wagons
covering almost all of S A, under the banner of Afrikaner
Nationalism, stirred up all the emotional flames of bitterness,
strife, division, hatred and bigotry. I ask in Jesus Name that this
blanket and web over the nation be removed and that all
prototype sectarian strongholds be broken over our nation, in the
Name of Jesus.

I renounce the prophecy released by Niklaas “Siener” van
Rensburg, that the South African flag, dipped in blood, will fly over
the people.
I renounce the solemn prayers, the religious obeisance and the
foundation stone of the Monument that was laid by three women.

DRC minister – thus perpetuating the spirit of conquest through
war and bloodshed.
I repent of and renounce the words of Dr. Malan:
“Just as the muzzleload had clashed with the assegai at Blood
River to preserve the interests of Whites, so too it was the duty of

Father, I break and loose my descendants and myself from the
terms of this covenant with death and destruction. I further break
any vows that were made in the name of the Afrikaner civil
religion in Jesus Name. Please destroy all witnesses against us, as
I apply the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I bind and rebuke all
spirits that would attach themselves to my family and me because
of these activities in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Lord, I bring before You the altar of the nation – the sarcophagus
(a coffin made of limestone) in the Monument (church of the
nation), which represents the vastness of Africa.
I repent of and renounce all the symbolism:
The ray of sunlight falling upon the face of the Sun god (the altar),
which according to Egyptian mythology, calls back the spirit of
Osiris who died and was resurrected. (This is done on the 16th
December yearly; therefore this monument acts as a channel for
the spirit of Osiris to manifest). I realize that in our ignorance, we
have raised up an altar to a demonic spirit, since the whole
symbolism of the Monument, was the temple or shrine of the
deity. His image looked out through the great door opening in the
direction of the rising sun.

· The domes: the floor in the Hall of heroes
· The statue of the Mother and child; all symbolism linked to
the gates
· Corner figures: the animals: the triangular cornea: the

· The frieze depicting the Vow, battles and bloodshed

· The Greek goddess ‘Nike’ – the goddess of victory
I renounce the monument as holy ground and as a place of
pilgrimage.
I renounce this emotional identity in the faith of the ‘Afrikaner
Elect’.
I now pray Heavenly Father, that You will protect and shield us,
from further defilement, from all deceitful and lying spirits,
especially from political demagogues who spout catch phrases
designed to latch onto us.
Please release us from demonic roots of bitterness, resentments
and latent childhood wounds. Please shield us from inflammatory
speeches, wielded from behind the scenes by principalities, powers
and evil spiritual forces. Please enable us to wield the sword of
truth against these archetypes of thought control and defilement,
in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Heal us Father, we pray and
close all the doorways to the soul.
Father, I now stand in the gap on behalf of my nation. I confess
that we were controlled by archetypal thought structures of fear,
racial prejudice, war, aggression, greed and religious stereotypes
that defiled us. These doctrines of demons were allowed into our
church – we mistook zeal for anointing, and turned fellowships
into rancor and division. Heavenly Father, this altar and
priesthood over the nation were based on the Aryan blonde race
doctrine – a Luciferian doctrine, rooted in pride and arrogance.
Like Daniel, I identify with the iniquity of my people.

sins be removed from us and that the curse will be turned into a
blessing over the nation, in the mighty Name of Jesus.

acknowledge the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, with the Lord

I renounce and loose myself from the cult of Osiris, Isis and Horus,

for yourself and your family, and then secondly for your city and

Father God, Creator of heaven and earth, we come to You in the
Name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We, the people of South Africa,
now confess and repent that we have sinned by allowing the
various sins of the Afrikaner Broederbond in our country and in
which some of our ancestors and in some cases ourselves have
participated. We confess and repent of these, the known sins of
the Afrikaner Broederbond, and ask that You will assist this prayer
through the Holy Spirit, because some of the sins of the Afrikaner
Broederbond might still be veiled to us.
We confess, renounce, forsake and repent of all involvement in the
Afrikaner Broederbond by Afrikaners, our ancestors and ourselves,
yes, even on behalf of some people that have been involved, who
did it in good faith and were never aware of the true nature of the
sin in the Afrikaner Broederbond.

IDOLATRY
We confess and repent of the sin of idolatry in the Afrikaner

honoured Executive Council members and the Broeders in the
Cabinet.
We confess and repent of the lusts of the flesh that drew people
to the Afrikaner Broederbond, i.e. lust for power, authority, the
love of money, greed, pride and advancement by favouritism and

from those that have been underpaid or in any way disadvantaged
(James 5:1-6). We confess and repent of the sins of moving of
boundaries, misleading people, perversion of justice, betrayal of
trust, sexual advantages taken and broken treaties committed in
the name of Apartheid and in some cases Your Name.

BLOODSHED
We confess and repent of the sins of worship of death and
blood oaths (through the pre-1974 initiation ceremony)
that the Afrikaner Broederbond brought about as well as the
spiritual death of its members and their communities.
We confess and repent of all acts of violence and bloodshed
against other racial groups, in the name of Volk and Vaderland
brought about through the policies spawned and supported by the
Afrikaner Broederbond.
CONCLUSION
Father God, we now ask humbly for the Blood of Jesus Christ Your
Son, to cleanse us and our country from all these sins we have
confessed, renounced and repented of; to cleanse our spirit, soul,
mind, emotions and every part of our bodies which have been
affected by these sins, in Jesus' Name.
Father God, we pray that You will cancel the curses brought on us
and our country by our allowing the sins propagated by the
Afrikaner Broederbond, including the curses on us, our children,
our congregations, the curse of apartheid division, deception,
confusion, openness to idolatry and spiritual death in many forms.
AFRIKANERS TO PRAY
As a nation we, the Afrikaners, renounce the sins committed by
the Afrikaner Broederbond in our nation and turn our back on it.
Father God, we forgive all our ancestors for the effects of their
sins with regard to the Afrikaner Broederbond on our children and
us. We pray, Father God that in Jesus' Name, the axe will now cut
the root so that from now on our descendents and us will be free
from the sins of the Broederbond committed in our family, our
nation and our country up to this day.

Father God, we declare that mankind is made in Your image and
likeness. We repent for our belief and treatment of other racial
groups as inferior, sub-human and devoid of the right to an
existence, in the Name of Jesus. We ask for forgiveness for all the
curses that we released against non-Afrikaners - please remove
this judgement from the Afrikaners and this country. Lord, help us
to reconcile with all the nations in our country.
NON-AFRIKANERS TO PRAY
As a nation, we, the (Zulu, Indian, English, … ) renounce the sins
committed by the Afrikaner Broederbond in South Africa. We turn
our back on it and we forgive the Afrikaners for the sins committed
by them against our and other nations.
Father God, we also proclaim in the Name of Jesus Christ that
satan and his demons no longer have any legal rights to mislead
and manipulate the person/s seeking help to become free of the
bondage due to their membership of the Afrikaner Broederbond in
South Africa.

FREEMASONRY
If you were once a Mason or are a descendent of a Mason, we
recommend that you pray through the following prayer from your
heart, firstly for yourself and your family, and secondly for your
city and country.
Father God, Creator of heaven and earth, we come to You in the
Name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We confess to You that we, the
people of South Africa, have sinned by allowing the sinful practice
of Freemasonry to take place in our country.
We now confess and repent of the various sins of Freemasonry as
a false religion that we have allowed and in which some of our
ancestors and, in some cases ourselves, have participated. We
confess and repent of these the known sins of Freemasonry and
ask that You will assist this prayer through the Holy Spirit, because
some of the sins of Freemasonry might still be veiled to us.
We confess, renounce, forsake and repent of all involvement in
Freemasonry by our people, our ancestors and ourselves, even on
behalf of some people that have been involved, who did it in good
faith and were never aware of the true nature of Freemasonry.
Detailed confession and repentance of the sin of Freemasonry will
now be addressed as classified in the main areas of sin.
IDOLATRY
We confess and repent of the sin of idolatry in Freemasonry,
whereby a host of false gods are worshipped in various ways,
some of which is a mockery of the atonement by our Lord Jesus
Christ on the cross and His resurrection as well as the false
representation of Holy Communion in various rites.

We confess and repent of our worship of satan and his demons in
the various rites in Freemasonry as the Great Architect Of The
Universe, Lucifer, Ba’al, Baphomet, Jah-Bul-On, the Egyptian gods
Osiris, Isis, Anubis, Horus and the power of the pyramids as well
as phallic and sun worship through the obelisk; Masonry's false
trinitarian deity AUM from the Eastern religions, and its parts:
Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the
destroyer. We renounce the deity of AHURA-MAZDA, the claimed
spirit or source of all light. We confess the sin of emulating Hiram
Abiff as the personification of Jesus Christ being resurrected in the
third degree initiation ceremony. We also renounce the false claim
that Lucifer is the Morning Star and Shining One and we declare
that Jesus Christ is the Bright and Morning Star of Revelation
22:16.
We confess and repent of the worshipping of man by the
positions awarded to them by Freemasonry, including but not
limited to the following: "Tyier", "Master", "Worshipful Master",
“Grand Knight Kadosh”, “Grand Inspector Inquisitor Commander”,
“Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret” and “Grand Sovereign
Inspector General”.
We confess and repent of the blasphemy and rejection of the
deity of Jesus Christ, His atonement for us and the mockery of
the communion taken in some rites including a biscuit, salt and
white wine.
We confess and repent of the false doctrine of reincarnation
accepted by Freemasonry.
We confess and repent of the lusts of the flesh that draws
people to Freemasonry, i.e. lust for power, authority, the love of
money, avarice or greed, pride and advancement by favoritism.
We confess and repent of the deception and manipulation of
lower level masons by the human authorities of Freemasonry, both
within and without South Africa.
We confess and repent of the fear instilled in its participants by
Freemasonry. We renounce all the fears, which hold people in
Masonry, especially the fears of death, fears of men, and fears of
trusting in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Masonry, and observing the helplessness of others during the
rituals.
We confess, renounce and repent of the net of Freemasonry
cast over the cities and towns of South Africa (with the lodges as
nodes) and its connection with the world wide net of Freemasonry.
BREAKING OF COVENANTS / MAKING UNHOLY
COVENANTS
We confess of the sins of breaking the New Covenant in
Jesus Christ by the entering into various unholy covenants in
Freemasonry as the Freemason progresses through the various
initiation ceremonies of the Freemasonry degrees.
We confess, renounce and repent of the oaths (including the oath
of secrecy) taken during the various Freemasonry degrees, from
the first degree to the highest degree.
We confess the sin of broken marriage covenants due to the
secrecy oaths of Freemasonry that overruled the oneness of the
marriage covenant. We confess and repent of the false marriage
contract with Freemasonry as signified by an oath and a ring on
the fourth finger of the right hand. We confess and repent of the
emotional rejection of Masonry passed on through any female
family member who felt distrusted and rejected by her husband as
he entered and attended any lodge and refused to tell her of his
secret activities.
We also confess, renounce and repent of the blasphemous
kissing of the Bible on a witchcraft oath.
We confess and renounce and repent of the various curses that
we accepted on our families and ourselves during the various
initiations from the lowest to the highest degree. These curses
mostly involved the punishment for breaking the secrecy of
Freemasonry and the rituals of the various degrees.

We confess, renounce and repent of the curses of death which
also brought various illnesses over our people: heart attack,
suffocation, various throat and lung illnesses (throat, vocal cords,
nasal passages, sinus, bronchial tubes), illnesses of the stomach,
gall bladder, womb (barrenness and miscarriages), liver and any
other organs of the body affected by Masonry. We specifically
confess, renounce and repent of any invitation to death or death
wish or curse that was made.
We also confess, renounce and repent of the various secret
passwords given in the various rites of Freemasonry and their
meanings and the curses embodied in them.
We confess, renounce and repent of the various secret covenants
of Freemasonry with other organizations, like social
organizations (e.g. Rotary Club and Lions) acting as screening
grounds for Freemasonry, business organizations to maintain
control over finances and cults and false religions (e.g.
witchdoctors in South Africa) to span the net of Freemasonry and
therefore of satan even wider.
SEXUAL IMMORALITY
We confess and repent of the sins against (sexual perversity,
homosexuality and bi-sexuality) and the curse on marriages that
Freemasonry brings.
BLOODSHED
We confess and repent of the sins of worship of death, blood
oaths and bloodshed that Freemasonry brings as well as the
spiritual death of its members and communities. We confess and
repent of the drinking from a scull in various ceremonies.

ASSOCIATED SECRET SOCIETIES
We confess and repent of the idolatry and broken covenants of all
secret societies associated with Freemasonry, such as the women's
Orders of the Eastern Star, the girls' Order of the Daughters of the
Eastern Star, the girls’ Order of the Rainbow girls and the boys'
Order of De Molay, and their effects on us our families and our
country.
SYMBOLIC CONFIRMATION OF REPENTANCE
All Freemasons, former Freemasons or descendants of Freemasons
should now be invited to sincerely carry out the following:
Symbolically remove the blindfold (hoodwink) and give it to the
Lord for disposal. In the same way, symbolically remove the veil of
mourning; symbolically cut and remove the noose from around the
neck, gather it up with the cable-tow running down the body and
give it all to the Lord for His disposal; renounce the false
Freemasonry marriage covenant, removing from the fourth finger
of the right hand the ring of this false marriage covenant, giving it
to the Lord to dispose of it; symbolically remove the chains and
bondages of Freemasonry from your body (remove the ball and
chain from the ankles); symbolically remove all Freemasonry
regalia and armour, especially the Apron; confess the sin of and
repent of and seek forgiveness for having walked on all unholy
ground including Freemasonry lodges and temples, including any
other occultist Masonic organizations.
CONCLUSION
Father God, we now ask humbly for the Blood of Jesus Christ Your
Son, to cleanse us and our country from all these sins we have
confessed, renounced and repented of; to cleanse our spirit, soul,
mind, emotions and every part of our bodies which have been
affected by these sins, in Jesus' Name! We declare that Jesus
Christ is the only Worshipful Master, Lord and Saviour. As a nation
we (use the name of your nation, e.g. Zulu, Afrikaners, etc.)
renounce the sin of Freemasonry in our nation and turn our back
on it.

and our country by our adherence to Freemasonry, including the
curses on the marriage, the children (especially the first-born), our
finances and businesses, our health, our congregations, the curse
of sexual immorality, division, deception, confusion, openness to

sins with regard to Freemasonry on our children and us. We pray,

PERSONAL REPENTANCE FOR RACISM
Most of us, even as intercessors, have aspects of racism in our
hearts. Some have dealt with it, but others have just suppressed
it. South Africa is one of a few countries in the world where racism
has been legalised through a system of law that was birthed out of
fear and pain, a system called Apartheid. Many similar things are
happening again today. We struggle to come to terms with past
hurts and hang on to what we perceive to be our legitimate rights.
South Africa has tried to come to terms with her past through the
Truth and Reconciliation Commission. A lot of truths have been
exposed but NO reconciliation has taken place. Why? To
reconcile there must be repentance and forgiveness. And who are
the ministers of reconciliation? Not the governments of the world
or the New World Order, but the CHURCH! Let us become what
we are supposed to be.
Gal 3:26-28
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as
many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek [nor any other race], there is
neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you
are all one in Christ Jesus.
Rom 5:8
…while we were still sinners, Christ died for us…
We cannot pray for the world (sinners) if we ourselves are outside
God’s will. The Christian should be identified with the fact that we
have laid down our claims to any rights, except to be called
“Children of God”. Jesus was very clear in His Word:
Matt 16:24-26
…If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and
take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his
life will lose (self-preservation), but whoever loses his life for My
sake will find it.

Who of us who call ourselves “watchmen on the walls” are willing
to loose our lives (and our rights) for Jesus’ sake? Who of us are
really willing to embrace the cross? Let us ponder this question as
we seek His face for a while and do self-examination.
We need to respond to the call of unity, for there the Lord
commands the blessing and life forevermore (Ps 133:3). We need
to shake the dust from ourselves, boldly obey the Word of the
Lord and embrace the work of the cross. Here follows a few
simple guidelines for the breaking of the stronghold of racism in
our lives.
HONESTY
Allow the Holy Spirit to shine His light into your heart regarding
superiority, pride and arrogance. Ask the Lord to show you the
roots of fear, bitterness, vain imaginations and self-love in your
own
life in relation to racial prejudice.
ACCEPT GOD'S REMEDY
The key to freedom from racism is death. No amount of
repentance, restitution, warfare or prayer can substitute the work
of the cross. We need to die to our natural heritage, in order to
truly enter our spiritual heritage. Many will gladly repent of
yesterday's “bad fruit”, but will find it really difficult to allow the
root of pride to be completely destroyed in their lives. Racism is
ugly, but it is also very “self-gratifying” to the flesh at times. We
need to hate this pride in our lives in order to be willing to
surrender it unto death on the cross.
SURRENDER YOUR PRIDE
Give your cultural and racial prejudice over to God. Surrender it
into His hands and declare Him the Lord over it. This process of
surrender may take some time, even weeks or months, as the
Holy Spirit will continually bring issues to the surface. Simply
repent and “cast it” root and all unto the Lord.

You will experience the liberating power of God setting you free,
as things are allowed to die upon the cross. You need to continue
to surrender an issue until you know in your heart that the “root”
has died.
SURRENDER YOUR PAIN
Many of us carry much pain regarding racism in us hearts. We
need to surrender our pain to the Lord and stop holding onto our
“right” for justification and restitution. Unless we let go, we will
always remain “victims” of racism. By surrendering our natural
“right” we are really exchanging our “pain” for the joy of the Lord.
LOOK TO THE LORD
The Lord is your Redeemer and Helper. Focus upon Him. Do not
focus on the evil that you see in the world, others or even
yourself. Simply focus on following the Lord in obedience. Many
times the enemy would want you to become focussed upon him,
but do not be distracted. You cannot be delivered from the
“demon of racism”, for racism is part of the natural man. At the
cross and through the work of the Spirit we die to it, and are then
raised up together with many “others” to form the household of
God. Follow the guidance of the Spirit and He will lead you to
liberty and life, and will destroy all the power of the enemy in
these areas.
SHARE YOUR LIBERTY
Share your liberty from racism with those close to you. This will
encourage them to do the same. But more importantly you need
to share it with the previous “others”. You need to go to people
and places that are not like “yours” and share your liberty with
them. Your joy will bless them and might also spark a flame of
hunger in their hearts to be free from the bondage of pride.

SHARE YOUR LOVE
1 Jn 3:16
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And
we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Love means to lay down your life in order that someone else might
live. Today as sons and daughters of the family in Christ we have
the responsibility to lay down our lives so that others might live.
This is the commandment to love. Without stepping into laying
down your life for “others” your love remains natural and you are
probably still bound by pride and racism.
Luke 6:27-36
But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those
who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who
spitefully use you … love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping
for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will
be sons of the Most High … therefore be merciful, just as your
Father also is merciful.
Pray that God will pour out His Spirit of reconciliation on His body.
Let us root out any form of racism and hatred in our own hearts,
so that He can fill us with His love, His compassion and His grace.
Let us start forgiving and see what God’s response will be.

BROKEN COVENANTS
Father, thank You for Jesus Christ, Who opened the way and
through whose Blood we have access to You. Thank You for
Jesus’ Blood, the New Covenant, and for the promise of
forgiveness of sins. Covenant-keeping God, You who revealed
Yourself as Elohim, El-Shaddai, YHWH, Jesus Christ and the Holy
Spirit, we come to Your throne of grace because we South Africans
need help. We acknowledge and confess that in South Africa we
have broken covenants with You and with one another. We
confess that as a nation we have not always lived according to
Your precepts and commands. We, and our fathers, have
deviated from Your ways and followed the dictates of our own
hearts, which many times were ways of injustice. Please forgive
us.
BROKEN COVENANTS AND TREATIES
God of the Covenant, we confess that South Africa is guilty of
breaking covenants with one another. In the history of our
country we have made agreements with one another but then
broken those agreements through deceptions and lies and
sometimes even bloodshed. We confess the broken covenants
between the Nguni Tribes (Zulu, Swazi and Xhosa); the broken
covenants between the Zulu and Sotho tribes; the broken
covenants between the Xhosa, Zulu, Khoi and San tribes; the
broken covenants between the Ndebele, Sotho and Tswana tribes;
the broken covenants between the Zulu and Shangaan tribes; the
broken covenants between the Venda and Pedi tribes; the broken
covenants between the European Settlers and the Khoi tribes; the
broken covenants between the European settlers and the Xhosa
tribes; the broken covenants between the Voortrekkers and the
Zulu; the broken covenants between the British and the Zulu and
Xhosa tribes; the broken covenants between the British and
Afrikaners; the broken covenants between the Afrikaners and the
ethnic tribes of South Africa; the broken covenants between
________________ (any covenant or agreement or treaty
between people groups in South Africa that you are aware of).
We ask for the Blood of Jesus to cancel the curse on the land
because of these broken covenants.

Please stop the cycle of hatred, revenge and bitterness because of
these broken covenants. Bring healing and reconciliation between
people groups and restore in South Africa the gift of reconciliation
so that we may accept and bless one another and the nations of
the world through reconciliation. Please build a multi-ethnic House
of Prayer in South Africa that will stand in agreement before Your
throne and ask for Your will to be done in South Africa.
LAWS AND POLICIES OF INJUSTICE
[We have not included all the laws of injustice in this prayer.
Please follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as you pray concerning
this issue.]
Father, as South Africans and ……………………… (own ethnic
group), we confess the laws of injustice of our own and previous
generations. We confess and repent of the laws that caused
people to be robbed of their basic rights as people before You:
The Slavery laws, Population Registration Act (1950) and Mixed
Marriages Act (1949). We confess and repent of the laws that
were, and still are, biased towards a certain racial group and
caused discrimination and hatred amongst ethnic groups (e.g.
Glen Grey Act of 1894). We confess and repent of laws that
dehumanised and humiliated people (e.g. “Pass Laws” and
Afscheidingsbeleid of 1846). We confess and repent of laws that
caused people to be estranged from their land and property:
Group Areas Act (1950), Land Acts of 1913 and 1936. We confess
and repent of laws that did injustice to strangers in our land. We
confess and repent of anti-Semitic policies of past and present.
We confess and repent of laws that are directly in opposition
against Your Word: Legalising Abortion and Legalising gambling
and lottery. We confess and repent of laws of injustice that
caused innocent blood to be shed (e.g. Shaka’s law to kill pregnant
women after his mother’s death). We confess and repent of the
tribal laws of ______________ (own ethnic group), which are in
direct opposition against Your Word. We confess and repent of
laws that betrayed the trust people had in You.

DIVORCE
Faithful One, we acknowledge and confess our guilt before You
because of divorce in our country. Many homes are broken and
lives destroyed because of this sin. Please forgive our
unfaithfulness and selfishness in not keeping the marriage
covenants and vows we made. We pray for the restoration of
marriages, broken relationships and families, and that You will
bring healing to those who are hurting. Please help us to be
faithful, to serve one another and to resist the temptations that
come our way. Please restore the fathers as priests of their
families and bring mothers and children under the protection of
the head of the family.
INJUSTICE
Father, we come before You to confess the many injustices in our
society. We confess and repent of the cursing, lying and stealing
in our community. We confess and repent of the lawlessness of
our society. We confess and repent of the many ways in which
our country’s laws are broken through carelessness, recklessness,
irresponsibility and disregard of law. We confess and repent of the
neglect of certain sectors of society, especially the elderly people
and children. We confess and repent of the apathy towards those
who suffer from poverty and disease. We confess and repent of
withholding our tithes from Your storerooms, so that people in
need can be cared for and looked after. We confess and repent of
seeking our own comfort before carrying the burden of those
around us. We ask that You will restore our “eyesight” to see
what You see in our society, to feel with Your heart and to help
with Your help. Help us to take responsibility of those in need and
to feed and clothe them according to Your Word. May the Church
be truly Your representative in South Africa.
Father, we as Your Body, want to take responsibility for South
Africa, to pray for the Government, to speak out on Your behalf.
Please give us the courage to stand up for what is right, to speak
out against what is wrong and to speak out for those who are
oppressed and downtrodden. Please deliver South Africa from the
guilt of injustice, broken covenants and broken relationships.
Cleanse us with the Blood of Jesus and bring healing and

restoration to our nation. Please remove the curse from the land
and restore the ground to produce food once more. Destroy all
wickedness and pagan influences that entered our nation because
of these broken covenants. Bring health to our people and let Your
face shine over us with Your favour. May Your Name be glorified
in South Africa. May we become a nation that serves You in
righteousness. May we be called blessed because of the good You
will do towards us. Pour out Your Spirit on this land, in the Name
of Jesus Christ, our High Priest.

AND BROKEN COVENANTS
Father God, I come to You, the Creator of heaven and earth, the
Holy One Who revealed Yourself to Israel as YHWH, the eternal I
AM, the covenant-keeping God. I acknowledge that You are the
only True God. The Supreme God of gods and King of kings. I
believe that You have revealed Yourself through Jesus Christ who
came in the flesh, died on the cross, rose from the dead and
ascended to heaven to sit at Your right hand on the throne. I
enter now into Your Presence through the way Jesus Christ
opened by the sacrifice of Himself on the cross and come before
You in His Name. I confess that I am saved by faith in the work of
Jesus Christ on the cross and not by works, but that my salvation
was a gift from You. I submit myself under Your authority as the
Judge who has the power to forgive sin and bring healing. I come
before You today in confession and repentance on behalf of myself
and my ancestors to ask You to break the power of sin in my life
and the lives of my people. I want to honour my earthly father
and mother and all my ancestors of my own flesh and blood, but I
reject their sin and turn my back upon it. I forgive my ancestors
for the effect of their sin on my descendants and on me. I confess
and reject all my own sins and ask You to allow the Holy Spirit to
apply, the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross in
my life and to release the victory of the cross over sin and
bondages in my life as well as those of my descendants. I also
ask You to allow the Holy Spirit to apply the power of the Blood of
Jesus Christ over satan and all his hosts of darkness. I believe
through faith that the victory is available right now.
IDOLATRY
· I confess that my ancestors and I were involved in the sin of
idolatry. I now reject and renounce all forms of idolatry.
· I reject and renounce the worship of images made of wood,
stone, gold, bronze or any other material.
· I reject and renounce the worship of sacred pillars, poles
or obelisks, as well as the worship of standing stones,
trees or any other similar objects.

· I reject and renounce all myths, legends and stories
about gods and spirits and also all incantations that are
used by any and all cults.
· I reject and renounce all forms of nature worship and the
worship of creation in the sun, moon, stars, planets or
the earth itself.
· I reject and renounce any gods and spirits worshipped in my
culture that I do not know and I list those whose names I
know and renounce them by name (give time for people to
think and pray on their own). I now turn my back on these
gods and ask in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ that they
will be made the footstool of Jesus.
· I reject and renounce all forms of animal worship or
totems. I cut all soul ties between me and the animal
kingdom and every animal worshipped in my culture,
especially the worship and charming of snakes, serpents,
dragons or any other water spirit or spirit of fire.
· I reject and renounce all worship of plants in my culture,
including the witchcraft use of plants as medicines in
alternative healing.
· I reject and renounce all forms of ancestor worship,
including ceremonies and rituals at ancestral tombs and
graves.
· I ask forgiveness for every ungodly sprinkling and incense
burning in temples of idols and reject and renounce it as
practices of Satan and idol worship. I reject and renounce
the belief in incantations and formulas, as well as rituals
and prayers during burials.
· I reject and renounce all forms of humanism, including
ceremonies and rituals at monuments honouring my
ancestors.
· I reject and renounce all forms of worship of my
nationality or national emblems of my country.
· I reject and renounce any self-centeredness, self-exaltation,
self-seeking or pride in human accomplishments. I also
reject any form of rebellion against God's authority.
· I reject and renounce all forms of exclusiveness, even
those of any secret society or organization that excludes
membership to certain people.

arguments in my culture that exalted itself against the
knowledge of God.
· I cut my descendants and myself loose from any ties to idols
and demonic spirits inhabiting any objects, ideas or customs
in my culture.
· I reject and renounce any altars to idols whether it is
images, ideas or ideologies. I cut my soul ties with any
priests or priestesses, all temples and places of worship as
well as all worship rituals and ceremonies with idols.
· I cut myself free and turn my back on all superstition, any
observances and remembrances of special days, seasons or
ceremonies performed for idols in my culture.
· I cut myself free from the cycle of fertility and
reincarnation.
· I cut myself loose from all magic powers, secret formulas
and medicines, false healing and healing powers, including
those used in alternative medicines introduced from the
East.
· In the Name of Jesus Christ, I cut my ancestors' and
descendants' names free from any person, gods or evil
forces, which would use our names to bring us under their
power and authority. I cancel all curses, charms,
incantations and magic or witchcraft done against us in the
name of any spiritual force and take us out under the
mastery of satan, the cosmic universe or any document and
place it under the Lordship of the true God revealed in three

· I cut myself free from any supernatural powers or
energies my ancestors or I have received from spiritual
forces.
· I petition for protection for myself and my descendants and
family against any spiritual force still worshipped by my
family or people in my culture through ceremonies, rituals or
observances.
· I ask for the Blood of Jesus to cover all sins of idolatry and
witchcraft.

BLOODGUILT
· I confess that my ancestors and I have been involved in the
sin of bloodshed. I accept the guilt of this sin on behalf of
my family and myself.
· I confess, reject and renounce all shedding of blood at illegal
altars to idols or spiritual forces, whether blood of animals or
humans.
· I confess the sin of bloodshed in abortion and acknowledge
that it is murder and the shedding of innocent blood and I
reject this practice.
· I confess, reject and renounce any bloodshed through
murders or killings done by my ancestors or myself, including
any suicides in my bloodline.
· I confess, reject and renounce any bloodshed during times
of war that my ancestors or myself were involved in,
whether it be through defence or attack.
· I confess any bloodshed that occurred in any accident that
my ancestors or myself were involved in. I silence all blood
that was shed because of miscarriages. I release the spirit/s
of the unborn child/ren to Jesus.
· I confess, reject and repent of any bloodshed through
mutilation or scarification on my body or any body piercing
done.
· I confess, reject and repent of drinking or eating of blood
done in my culture that my ancestors or I partook in.
· I confess, reject and repent of any rituals involving blood,
any documentation signed in blood or any ceremonies where
my ancestors or myself used blood. I confess, reject and
repent of any blood covenants made with spiritual forces,
people or animals.
· I forgive anyone who has committed bloodshed against me,
my family or my ancestors and people.
· In the Name of Jesus I ask that the Blood of Jesus silence
the voices of blood crying out against my family and me. I
ask that the cycle of violence and bloodshed will stop and
that no more revenge will be asked.

IMMORALITY
· I confess that my family and I have been involved in the sin
of immorality.
· I confess, reject and renounce any form of perversity in the
lives of my ancestors or myself: the sin of incest in the
family, intercourse during menstruation, adultery,
homosexuality, bestiality, masturbation, fornication,
premarital sex, prostitution, pornography, sexual abuse of
any form, rape, the uncovering of my own or anybody else's
nakedness in perversity, multiple relationships (with or
without practicing sex), any other form of uncleanness in my
thoughts, through watching x-rated movies or movies with
explicit sex scenes or through reading books.
· I ask forgiveness for any illegitimate births taking place in
my family. I break the curse of illegitimacy over my
descendants and myself until the tenth generation.
· I recognized that my involvement in sexual sin has
contributed to a spirit of violence in the land and I confess
and repent of this contribution.
· I forgive anyone who was involved in violating my body,
thoughts or emotions through sexual assault.
· I ask now that the Blood of Jesus Christ will cleanse my body
and soul from any memories, thoughts, wounds or emotions.
BROKEN COVENANTS
· I confess the sin of broken covenants or broken treaties in
the lives of my ancestors and myself.
· I confess, reject and renounce the practice of divorce
(broken covenant). I now ask for forgiveness for the
involvement in the breaking of marriage vows and I forgive
my marriage partner for breaking covenant with me.
I forgive my ancestors who broke covenant in marriages and
the effect this had on my life as well as those of my
descendants. I now cut my descendants and myself free
from the curse of broken covenants.
· I confess, reject and renounce any broken covenants or
treaties my country or people were involved in whether with
God or another culture or people.

· I confess, reject and renounce any broken covenants my
family or I committed in business. I ask for an opportunity
to bring restitution if that is necessary.
· I confess, reject and renounce any contribution I had to the
breaking up of my family and forgive anyone else who was
involved in such a way.
PROCLAMATION
In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and with the authority
which I have as a believer in Him, I now declare that I have been
redeemed out of the hand of satan and all idolatry and that I am
cleansed of this sin and through His Blood I am forgiven,
sanctified, cleansed and justified. I now turn my back on all forms
of idolatry. I take my territory back from satan and tear up any
contracts made with him. I cut my descendant and myself free
from all oaths, blood bonds and soul ties with every person who
was involved in the above. I ask for a total removal of all guilt and
shame on my descendants and me for whatever sin we have been
involved in. I now strip gatekeepers of their authority, and ask You
Lord Jesus that all ungodly keys will be destroyed, all papers of
commission be torn up, and them to decommissioned. In the
Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I ask that You will please close
all evil doors and seal them with Your Blood.
I ask forgiveness for my and my ancestors' involvement with all
the above-mentioned things and confess that it is an abomination
in Your sight. I thank You Father, that You will never think of
these sins and that You will remove them as far as the East is from
the West. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I now command every evil
spirit to leave me immediately and all idols to come under God's
judgment. I pray that all curses on the land because of my sin and
the sin of my ancestors will now be broken and nullified in the
Name of Jesus Christ and that the land will be set free from my
sin. I pray Lord Jesus Christ that You will send Your Spirit in a
mighty revival to set people free who are still in bondage to sin
and satan.

THE NATIONAL ANTHEM OF
SOUTH AFRICA concerning BLOODSHED
South Africa has, according to a newspaper article, the reputation
as the “Murder capital of the world”. About 60 000 people in
South Africa die by homicide, suicide, or traffic and other accidents
per year.
The caption of the following article reads: “Live and die in SA, ‘a
very violent society’” – Pta News 9.8.2001.
For many years the National Anthem of South Africa contained
these words: “We shall live and we shall die, we for you, South
Africa.” These words are also engraved on the sarcophagus
(tomb) in the Voortrekker Monument: “We for you South Africa”.
These words, and the way they are spoken or sung, are a
covenant with death, made by a whole nation to confirm their
commitment to land (not God). We have entered into a covenant
with South Africa – to live or die here. And it is happening. The
words we have spoken over our land are coming to pass. People
are dying. About 27 600 (46%) people were murdered, of which
more than half can be attributed to firearms. Almost 4 800 (8%)
people committed suicide in one year and 20 400 (34%) people
died in accidents. Death is relentlessly stalking our societies,
snatching the lives of victims who had no intention of giving their
lives for South Africa.
The time has come to break this covenant with death over South
Africa and to cancel the curse that is causing so much chaos. I
know this will be difficult for some people to do, but we have to
renounce the covenant made by those words. Nationalistic
emotions will rise up and even arguments that it was not what was
meant by these words. But the fact is, we have invited death into
our country by singing – we will live and we will die!!!

If you are willing to renounce it and to bring repentance, then
please pray the following prayer with us:
Father God, we come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ, your
Son, Who died on the cross for our sins. You laid all our iniquities
on Him and He was chastised for our well-being. He became a
curse for us, so that the curses because of sin could be broken.
We acknowledge that we, and our ancestors, made a covenant
through death, with South Africa. We renounce that covenant,
repent of the sin of worshiping our country and ask You now to
cancel the covenant and the curse of that covenant in the Name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We ask You to break the cycle of
bloodshed in our country. So many people are dying violent
deaths; please forgive us for this violence. Let the Blood of Jesus
Christ cleanse South Africa and all its inhabitants from the sin of
bloodshed and violence. Restore our societies and bring again
peace and stability.
We plead with You, in the Name of Jesus Christ, to remove the
curse of being “the murder capital of the world” and to bring
reconciliation. Please take the heart of stone out of all South
Africans and give us a heart of flesh. Please pour out Your grace
and help us to turn from our wicked ways. Help us to forgive and
to let go of the hatred and bitterness in our hearts. Please give us
new song – to worship You and not our country. Amen.
Let us also pray concerning the bloodshed through the hands of
many South Africans in other countries through wars and sending
out mercenaries. Let us confess the bloodshed in Angola,
Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ethiopia, Somalia, Libya, Russia and
Korea. Confess also South Africa’s involvement in the first and
second World Wars in Europe and North Africa. Ask the Lord for
forgiveness and to bring healing and restoration even to those
countries.
During the time of repentance for bloodguilt, one of the teams
received a vision that the blood that was shed on the land, feeds
the roots of bitterness, anger, hatred and resentment, which in
turn, bring forth the fruit of racism. Repentance for the bloodshed
removes this “fertilizer”. But we have to cut off the roots of
bitterness, anger, resentment and hatred.

Doing this will cause the fruit to also disappear. The only way we
can do it is through forgiveness. We have to extend forgiveness
to those who hurt or oppressed or even killed some of us.
Without forgiveness there cannot be reconciliation. If we are not
willing to forgive those who sinned against us, God cannot forgive
our sin. Please think about the consequences of unforgiveness
and come before the Lord in repentance. It is very significant that
the National Anthem of South Africa was written by a freemason
(C.J. Langenhoven).
